Summary: This book Is Awesome!!
Review: This book is about two killers on different sides of the United states that work together. One is like a collector of body parts and the other is a collector of beautiful women. All the women abducted in this book are young, beautiful and are very special in some sort of way. This is a spine-tingling book. It will keep you on the edge of your seat the whole ride through. You never know where this book will take a turn to next. It's very suspensful and has a lot of action. You will be so amazed with the ending of this book! It will totally knowck your socks off! And for all those romantic women it has a little bit of a love chemistry going on here! It is one of my favorite books!! I truly think its the best book of the 20th century!!! Check it out!!

Summary: edge of seat stuff
Review: the book was hugely enjoyable and I couldn't put it down once I'd started, the housework was forgotten as I tried to guess whodunnit and whether Alex would be in time to save the heroine! The film was a bit of a dissapointment, despite the fab |Morgan freeman starring role, Never mind the critics though, read this series it's wonderful edge of seat stuff.

Review: If Along Came a Spider (which I loved) was 4 1/2 stars, Kiss the Girls is a 6! I just recently started reading Patterson. He is the one of the BEST! KTG will keep you reading and hoping the end never comes. It certainly does, but not quite like you would expect. A very definite MUST READ.

Summary: Amazing thriller.
Review: Rarely do novels have me so on edge as Patteron's KISS THE GIRLS. I read it in two days and was a nervous wreck the whole time. Women begin disappearing in Chapel Hill, NC, to the horror of the locals and authorities. When Alex Cross' own neice becomes one of the missing, he hot-tails it to NC to try and find her and solve the mystery. It becomes apparent that it is the work of a serial killer who may be keeping the girls prisoners. And if that wasn't horrifying enough, there appears to be a relationship between the man who calls himself "Casanova" and another serial killer operating on the west coast. A fantastic thriller from an amazing author. Alex Cross has become one of my favorite fictional heroes. Highest recommendation.

Summary: "Kiss the Girls" barely made the grade it got
Review: I must say that I was looking and hoping to enjoy "Kiss the Girls." I did, but I didn't. James Patterson's novel could have been cut in half, had way more twists, and a much better ending. A thing that I did enjoy about this book was all of the medical and hospital surroundings. The investigation was also great too.

There are two serial killers working on each side of the United States. After Alex Cross' niece, Naomi is kidnapped, he puts himself on the case. Alex Cross is a great character, and I don't think that the book would be any good if it were not for him. Kate McTiernan is also a great character. Patterson is a great writer that puts the words in your mind, but unfortunately his story was not the greatest. But don't get me wrong, it was good.

The book is not like some of Patterson's others; it doesn't have lots of FBI related material, is low on forensic science, and just that other type of investigatorial stuff. But this book does include some medicine, and I liked that. Patterson also gives a reliable description of Beverley Hills and areas around Duke University in North Carolina. His description was not lacking, but it was not great like some of his others like "Roses are Red."

Now you must be asking why I gave this novel just three stars. I did so because the novel was very predictable, lacked much action, and had a disappointing and predictable ending. Besides these points, "Kiss the Girls" is a novel you don't want to miss. If you're looking for a non-stop action thriller, then look elsewhere in the genre or the Alex Cross series. So, don't dig into this novel thinking it's bad; because that's not what you'll get. So, overall I give "Kiss the Girls" a "C." This novel is not bad, but not great. Good luck and enjoy!

Happy Reading

Summary: SUCH A SWEET KISS
Review: In this second installment in the Alex Cross series, Patterson pulls out the stops in this tale of not one, but two delightfully vicious serial killers. Once again, Alex finds himself embroiled in this dastardly scene, because his lovely niece, Naomi, is one of Casanova's "collections." The story goes from Chapel Hill to L.A., and back, and Patterson has plenty of surprises and suspenseful scenes to satisfy even the most hardboiled cynic.

While the identity of the Gentleman Caller is established right away, Casanova's real identity is left to the very end of the book, and it is a surprise to say the least.

Of course, what makes this work so beautifully is the wonderful characterizations Patterson gives us in his recurring characters of Cross, his family, his friend John Sampson, and the heroine, Kate McTiernan. Don't let the movie influence you in reading this book. While the movie is an okay thriller, the book far surpasses it in giving us much more background and suspense.

"Kiss the Girls" is top notch thriller at its best!

Summary: Cleverly crafted!
Review: This is a book of unspeakable crimes that are worthy reading about. Patterson gives us two intense murderers who are not just friends but competitors. Don't ask how he comes up with his ideas but he's a damn good writer.

One of the murderers works the human-meat-factory L.A., where he brutally murders and dismembers his prey; his competitor,Casanova, raises terror in Raleigh/Chapel Hill.

For Alex Cross, the hunt is personal because someone close to him is one of the victims.

Make sure that you have an appointment with your psychiatrist before you start reading this book. You will the help.
