Review: This book is about a boy named Ben Carson, and his family is very poor.His father left him, his mom, and his older brother because he had another wife out there somewhere. Ben had to live through a lot of hard stuff in his life.
Ben grew up to be a doctor, and he eventully seperated siamese twins. He was the first person to do it without killing one of the twins.
This is an Awesome book and when you start you can't stop. This book should have six stars.

Review: I had to read Gifted Hands, by Ben Carson for school. This book has inspired me for my fulture goals. After reading this book I want to read his other two books, Think Big and The Big Picture. This book explained that you don't have to be the best styled, but do the best that you can do. I'm glad that I've read this book. I think this book changed the way I look at things. I think every 7th grader should read one of Ban Carson's books. I encourage everyone to read one of his books.

Summary: What A Great Book!!
Review: The first time I heard about this book is when my father came into my room and told me about this guy named Ben Carson I didn't really care to read it. My dad said he saw him at a business function and that was the thing that really inspired me to read it. The book Gifted Hands is a re-telling of a young boy named Ben Carson and what difficulties he went through in his life and how he got through them and how he became one of the best Nuerosurgeons in the world. I recommend this book to anybody who is willing to read it enjoy.

Review: This book is a book about a man named ben carson. He was born in inner city of detroit. Ben decided he wanted to be a doctor. At the age of ten he started thinking of what colleuge he was going to. When he was in his last year of high school he was accepted to yale and maryland but he went to yale. In 1985 Ben carson did his first major surgey and did a great job. In 1987 Ben carson did a surgery on the binder twins who heads were joined together and did a great. Ben was a model youth student. He worked real hard in his life. And it payed of real great for him. In 1989 Ben carson was recieved a doctor degree and was very happy. What Ben also did a lot was help teenagers do real good in life he tried his hardest to make tenneagers recieve there goals. He also loved his job more then anythind in life. But he lived in a struggle house so he helps his parents out in life. Thats what makes him really gifted. This what makes this a book a four and a real close five.

Review: This is a book that speaks about the Michael Jordan of the medicine. Gifted hands, describes how Ben Carson had became into a winner. Ben Carson, who was the last one student on his 3rd year class, during the elementary school, became one of the most (or perhaps the most) successful neurosurgeon in the world. He also describes in his book, how the support of the people that surrounded hem and the help of God was essential to found out the way trough the success. I entirely recommend this book for people who are looking motivation in life.

Review: When Ben Carson was 8 years old his father left his house, he suffered discrimination for being Afro-American and faced poverty. It wasn't an easy life but he faced it optimistically and with character to reach his dream to become a doctor. Later, he had other challenges that he faced like neurosurgeries that no one had done before. How he did to reach his dreams and be a successful person? Ben Carson teaches good lessons of life through Gifted Hands like manage your time, be perseverant and have confidence in God. These are keys for a successful life. There is a lesson that I really liked and it helped me to face some troubles.It says: Do your best in everything you do, no matter what it is you can be the best. Gifted Hands is an interesting and marvelous book that you cannot miss.

Summary: A Real Story in an Excellent Book!
Review: Gifted Hands is not a fairy tale; it's the real story of an American black child who grew up in Detroit during the 60s. This book is Carson's autobiography, and he narrates how he overcomes many defiant situations in his childhood, and his teenager years. He becomes one of the most important neurosurgeons in the world. The book is easy to read, besides the fact that it hitches the interest through the story, his life, struggles and successes. During the reading I was able to feel Ben Carson feelings, even though he is an internationally recognized surgeon, whose honesty, religiosity and simplicity are still genuine. He shares magically his clues to get a successful life. Through the reading, my respect for Ben grew until it became admiration. This book shows how dreams become true by working and studying hard. I highly recommend it. I'm sure this book could even change your life as it has done with mine!

Review: The Gifted Hands is Ben Carson's autobiography. In the book he tells us his obstacles through his life, and how he overcome them with the god's help and hard work. Moreover, like most black men he faced several problems with racism. Ben was a man who always was focused on accomplishing of his goals.
He is a very good example of endurance together with the wish of always be better in every thing. It made him to became a very good neurosurgeon, which was his principal goal, helping a lot people. However, Ben tells his milestones in a certain pride way because he always talk about that his was the one who had the best grades in the class, he talk about his conferences, the articles in the magazines which talk about him, T.V. shows in that he was present, and the way that his life affected or gave encourage to others lives, for this reason I gave to the book 3 start.

Summary: Wow, I don't believe it!
Review: This is a doctor, Ben Carson's true story and novel. It is his autobiography and non-fiction novel. This book 'gifted hands' inspired me and changed my life and might affect in your life or change you. His desire and devoted passion in his life for patients in the book were so impressive to me. Some parts of the book make me not believe the story because those look like just challenge. His some surgeries as a surgeon gave some dying patients another chance to survive even though those surgeries looked impossible to be succeeded so that this incredible story encouraged me to try doing something impossible. Also his self-confidence in all ways of his life stimulates me to make one more step forward in your life if you learn his self-confidence like in his intern days of the hospital through the book after reading it. As I refer about the book, there are a lot of indirect teachings in the book that you need to learn for your better life even though it is a just novel. That is why I want you to read it and recommend you to read it. Especially this book shows the guide for education between mothers and children. His mother teaches and shows him how to control his bad urge and habit like reading a lot instead of watching TV too much so that her teaching makes him succeed in his life, and then he shows us how he succeeds with his self-control. His mother's stimulation like self-control is the important crystal for his great success. I think this story shows the important role of a mother for education of her children's success. Don't hesitate reading this book. This book will be the lighthouse and the fresh air in your life.
