Review: A "Gifted Hands" is an excellent book. It talked about one black guy, Ben Carson who became a successful surgeon through his education and experience. Ben suffered the discrimination because his black skin but Ben knew education will change his whole life. Furthermore, He should appreciate God offered him a pair of gifted hands who can save people's lives who are on the verge of dying. I learned from this book how education is important for everyone that people can respect you from your skills. If everyone gets better education in your life, it will change your whole life because the education will communicate with the world.

Review: This book talks bout the real life of a doctor, Ben Carson. " Gifted Hands" is a wonderful book to hear about Ben who can give people life when they were in the brink of dying and how he can help people who other doctors believe are beyond help. Also, it talked about how Ben faced his life in positive way, how he did his best in every thing, and how he had successful all the time. I learn that I need to try my best to fulfill my educations, experiences, and whole life. I think this book is a very good book for people learning to reach their goal.

Review: I'm an international student from Seoul, Korea. I'm studying English. When I started reading this book, it was sort of difficult for me. This book shows us how our desires and efforts can change our lives more than before. In spite of racism and discrimination at that time, Ben Carson overcame these and became a great neurosurgeon who gave second chances to live to many people, especially Siamese twins. I have confidence that I can do anything that I want from this book. He was at the bottom of his class when he was an elementary school student. However, he finally became the top of the class with his constant effort. After I had read his life, I learned that I will be able to do what Ben Carson can and anybody will be able to what I can. I highly recommend this to people who are looking for a good one.

Review: Through this book, I could feel the great human being. Even though there are many difficulties in the life, people can get over their catastrophic circumstance and their unhappiness with the trial and the sacrifice like Dr, Ben Carson, who grew up in poverty and faced racial discrimination. I could feel the grief and the frustration of one man in this book, but soon I could also learn the overcoming process and the result of trial in it. I want to recommend this book to everyone who suffers from many problems and I am certain that they will able to obtain hope and courage through this book.

Review: I am 15 years old and a very avid reader. When my mom first recommended this book to me I thought it would be boring but after I started it I could not put it down. It is so exciting to hear about how Ben can give people life when they are on the brink of dying and how he can help people who nobody thinks they can help. He also shows people how inportant reading really is and how knowledgable it can make someone. THIS BOOK IS A DEFINITE BUY! It is VERY good!

Review: Ben Carson's Gifted Hands is one of true inspiration, and an excellent testimony to the power to overcome obstacles and fufill dreams. From living on the streets of Detroit and Boston to walking the sidewalks of Yale to performing successful hemisphrectomies and twin seperations, Carson takes the reader down his long journey to go beyond his condition to improve the lives around him. A superb testimony to faith and God, for he attributes most if not all of his successful endeavors to his firm belief and reliance in God. Ecxellent content and passage--the reader will feel as if Carson is engaging in a deep disscussion with them, sharing his trials, triumphs, and experiences. The book will be fully enjoyed and comprehended by members of the medical field, for at times, the language is of medical terminology, with some help from footnotes located throughout the book. A good read!

Review: I first read this book when I was 10 years old. My mom gave it to me. The book was so good I spent the whole weekend reading it non-stop. This book let me know that I too can do anything I want to if I try hard. Everybody should read this book by the time they are in high school.

Review: When my dad first gave me this book I struggled to get into it becuase I just hated reading. Once I got started I finshed the book in a couple of days. This book has gotten me interested in reading more often and it has made me realize the miracles that happen to people everyday.
