Rating: Summary: I found the book to be very eduactional. Review: I enjoyed reading about the many skills of operations to save the life of people. Also the fact that DR.Carson thought of himself as just a doctor doing his job,and something he loved to do. He also had faith in what he was doing. He believed that his skill came from God.In beliving that he was not afried carry out his work.
Rating: Summary: Hoow I felt about the Book. Review: I liked the book a little knowing that I didn't really read read it. But from what I know he did a lot to help a lot of people. He was always there to give someone a helping hand to who ever needed it. His mother helped him a lot during the years. Without the male role model in his life he went on living to another day. His mother was his father all in one put together. She helped him in school. Helped get threw all the problems that he was going through. Even though he was hurting he still went on with his head up to make his mother proud. And he did just that. He had the confidence that God was with him and he put in first in what he had to do. Helping Miranda with problem that she had that went through a big success and I knoe that he was happy about that. Then there was another problem that he had with the twins brother sthat were joined at the head he removed them. That was real touching to read. Knowing that you have kids life on your hands that is real deep not knowing that they are going tp live or die that is something that you really have to think about. That is real powerful. Part of the book was ok. But I really didn't get the chance to read the other parts of the book buut what I have read was real interseting.
Rating: Summary: A good book for everyone Review: my review on Ben Carson book gifted hands this book is very good for everyone to read. It's tell you what type of problem he was having when small. How he had a relationship god and his mother when he was in church. Then as he got older he him self had went thought problem to. Him having to deal with the changing of school's. Not keeping up grades and also had to change the way he dress him self among his peer's in order to fit in. Then he decided to join a military school. In which he de- velop good leadership skill's. That put him back on track slow but surely. Which made him one of the best nuerosurgery in his life time. This book has giving me knowledge and wisdom and understanding. That no matter what happen in life keep focusing on your goal and you well make it.
Rating: Summary: This book is the best "Anti-depressant" out there. Review: The "gifted hands" is about a man and his beliefs. First and foremost, his belief in God and his belief in himself never to give up. After reading this book, I came out renewed in my beliefs in God and my belief that inspite of all the odds that can be against us, faith in God and the will to succeed are the two things you need to achieve success in life.
