Summary: Superb Treatise on Race
Review: David Duke's monumental work,"My Awakening", is a masterpiece of research, dedication, and above all, courage. His footnotes are numerous and substantiated by credible Jewish historians and writers. He explores the important differences between the races, and thoroughly shatters the egalitarian myth that there are 'no differences between the races except skin color'. He shows why all the affirmative action programs were doomed to fail, and why it is vitally important to become racially conscious. He proposes workable solutions to improve Black underachievement, and how the White race can solve its problems, as well. This was the best book I've ever read on race and culture.

Summary: Never answers my question
Review: If keeping one's race "pure" is so important, as Duke makes it out to be, then what is to be done about the inevitable rise of genetic disorders? Any biologist worth his/her salt can point out, with research that trumps all of Duke's eugenic nonsense, that breeding within one's "own race" dramatically heightens the risk of genetic disorders in the next generation. Ironically, a tragic example is provided by the Jews, whose population must now deal with the horrors of Tay-Sachs syndrome, truly a fate worse than death. Interestingly enough, Jews who breed with a non-Hebrew partner effectively remove the danger of Tay-Sachs, and a whole host of other disorders to boot. Similar situations hold true for every other ethnicity on the planet. David Duke may not want humans to "spread their seeds around." But Nature evidently does.

Summary: This book changed my views
Review: This is perhaps the best book ever written on both the race issue and the Jewish issue.

In the part of the book devoted to race in general, Duke explains how large race differences are and argues the case for a genetic explanation of race differences. He argues for these things in a very persuasive way, just like in many other books, like Arthur Jensens The G Factor, Philippe Rushtons Race, Evolution and Behavior and Michael Levins Why Race Matters. But he goes beyond these other authors and also explains the profound effects of race on society. He explains how it was race-mixing who has destroyed ancient civilisations like Egypt, India, Greece and Rome. He really touches you deep within with his experience of the miserable conditions in once-mighty and once-White India. He also explains how massimmigration and forced integration has caused crime to skyrocket and the standards in education to decline. In addition, Duke explains the evil that will happen if we don't do anything about it: Total extinction through race-mixing. Something which will destroy an entire life form (our life form ) and all that is associated with it-our Western civilisation and our beauty....

Finally, Duke gives a very interesting account of his life and his struggle for the White race.

This is a book that everyone interested in the issues of race and Jews should buy. Duke provides over 1000 references to back up his statement. Because of that it is an invaluable , virtually encyclopedic reference book for racially consciouss Whites. For politically correct persons, however, it should be attached with a warning label that says "Any politically correct person reading this will meet a persuasive book that might make you a "racist"".

Summary: A watered-down Mein Kampf
Review: This is basically a carbon copy of Hitler's Mein Kampf. It has all the same neo-nazi ideals: the superiority of the Aryan super-race, the inferiority of all "sub-races", the evil and "parasitic" Jews...Hitler promised a perfect Aryan Germany, Duke promises a perfect Aryan America. Hitler tried to strike at the fears and insecurities of German citizens in the 1920's, Duke strikes at the fears and insecurities of today's middle-class conservative white male.

He sites an assortment of discredited racist scientific theories from the 1950's-70's, from which he provides an array of charts and graphs, about IQ distribution, brain size of different races, inherent racial traits, and climates of different prehistoric cultures. He plays to many of the classical anti-Semitic themes, providing a laundry list of Jewish stereotypes. Relying on classic strategies invoked by the Holocaust deniers, Duke attempts to deconstruct the Holocaust "tale" piece by piece, in an attempt to discredit the "Jewish" version of the story. They have learned from Hitler that "a lie is believed because of the insolent inflexibility with which it is propagated." Holocaust denial is a contemporary form of the classic anti-Semitic doctrine of the evil, manipulative and threatening world Jewish conspiracy. It was this doctrine that as instrumental in laying the groundwork for the Holocaust. What is on the surface a denial of the reality of genocide is, at its core, an appeal to genocidal hatred. It is no accident that David Duke is an avid propagator of Holocaust denial ideology and materials. He was a neo-nazi and a KKK grand Wizard, what stances do you expect him to take?

Summary: Thought-provoking, intelligent book
Review: It is amazing how much factual information is contained in this book. Duke's research has helped me write many college essays, and while his philosophy is a bit skewed and he plays down his racism, it is still a mostly objective book, like "the Bell Curve. He does offer some amazing perspectives on Jewish America, and shows how much influence (he uses the term power) the Jewish people have over the American media. Of course, his "I'm a good, white, Christian" statements almost discredit him, and it amazes me that Duke, whose writings have so much merit, could even be a Christian. His pseudo-Christianity, which he alludes to frequently, certainly could boost his popularity among white supremist hicks, but any student of philosophy would close the book when he quotes his first bible verse. It is strange that he embraces "racist" doctrines and at the same time tries to gain support by posing as a Christian. Other than that, there is some great information here that EVERYONE should have a look at (or at least people intelligent enough to separate Dukism from the facts on the pages).

Summary: THE TRUTH AT LAST
Review: In an era where common sense has been thrown out the window, David Duke has injected a huge dose of reality into what is truly going on today. The propaganda lords have made sure that just the mention of his name evokes cross burnings, hangings etc., yet when one comes to know this man they find a caring individual who slowly awakened to the biological truth that not only are the races distinct from each other in almost every area, but these differences preclude a peaceful existence by having integration forced upon us. Integration does no one any good, and in the 40+ years since it has been forced upon us (and if it's so good, why does it have to be forced?) there has been nothing but increased hatred between the races. Most people want to live, work and exist with their own kind; why can't we just leave it at that? Read this book and learn how years of media manipulation has resulted in a ludicrous concept of what the "truth" is, and learn why this is being done. But most of all, meet a man who really cares--about his race, its future--in fact, all races. To force integration is to foster hatred; to follow natural segregation brings peace. One of the best books ever written on the subject. Approach it with an open mind, and then take a good look around you and believe your own eyes and ears, not the idiot box, movies and newspapers. Learn the "forbidden" truth, and what we can do about it to help all races everywhere.

Summary: Far from being 'hate-filled'... Powerful and sensible
Review: Every time I have seen Duke on TV, the host always tries to make him look small and stupid, but Duke always, always shows his superior intelligence and superior argument and wins over the audience - every time. This is why they are afraid to have him on their shows any more. Far from being 'hate-filled', he is just too reasonable.

And this is exactly how this book is. All you have to do is read the first couple of chapters and a little light will go on in your head. You will realise that the reason Duke has been demonized is because they don't want his arguments to be heard. Dismissed as a 'racist', or a 'white supremacist', his arguments are usually never even discussed.

In this book you will find a superb, powerful (too powerful for some wishy-washy types who would not dare go near this book) argument which is so clearly-laid out that even the most brainwashed citizen could understand.

This is a very weighty book and is extremely comprehensively indexed and sourced. It is chock full of statistics and very powerful arguments. I dare you to read it.

Review: David Duke's, My Awakening, proves to be very well researched and documented. This is a great book for those who desire to know the truth about America's destructive path of diversity. Duke clearly shows that by ignoring facts causing racial and political instability, America's problems will only worsen. He also demonstrates how diversity has and is causing problems throuhout other European based countries. Duke's book may encourage people to wake up before it is too late.

Summary: Well-documented, but boring
Review: Duke presents facts that cannot be ignored. However, the book tends to take on a life of it's own. Simply, I wasn't able to finish it. Is Duke a racist? I have no idea.
