Rating: Summary: Love You Forever wonderful! Review: I loved this book ever since i heard someone doing it as an oral language festival when i was in grade school. and now since I've had a son of my own . I read this story to him nightly and never get tired of it. It's great story from the mother's prosepctive as her one and only grows though the years. I find it touching to the heart and now I almost have it memorized. And to say it again this book is a wonderful story for all mom's to get and read to their babies and toddlers.
Rating: Summary: If you're a mom... you will cry!! Review: I love this book!! To whomever said that this book was "creepy"...you obviously aren't a parent! This book brings tears to my eyes every time I read it. It is heartfelt and sweet. Thank you Robert Munsch for a book that touches the hearts of all parents and keeps reminding us that good parenting always pays off!!
Rating: Summary: Not for me. . . Review: This book wasn't for me. . .depressed me actually. At the start of my child's life, I couldn't deal with a book that was about me growing old and leaving him behind. I know that not the book's point and perhaps I'll wake up in a another year and love it but for now I've put it away and don't plan to pick it up again anytime soon.
Rating: Summary: Simply Adorable! Review: This book has become one of my favorite books to read to all ages and gender since 1986. This story of a mother's love for her son through his growth process is delightful. It starts with a new mother rocking her new baby and singing him an enchanting song that will last in his mind forever. As he grows he seems to drive his mother crazy as he reaches each developmental stage. But when night falls and he is asleep she shares a loving moment with him by rocking and singing to him. I can never get to the end of the story without a crystal tear drop. This book is a great gift for mothers, fathers, daughters, and children. This is the number one book I give on birthdays and Mothers Day.
Rating: Summary: The Cutest Book I've ever read! Review: I was read this book when I was very little. For my book project this year in school I had to choose my favorite book out of 25 books. Guess What!! I chose this book! Robert Munsch is a wonderful author. The book is a cute children's story which shows the "invisable" love between parents and their children. I just love it!
Rating: Summary: Unconditional love.... Review: This book is not creepy or odd at all. When I read it, I think of the love my Mom and Dad had for me and their unconditional love for me until the day my Dad passed away. As I read it to my children, they snuggle up to me and understand my tears are of 'complete happiness'. The book represents love and traditions that are passed down from generation to generation. To be loved and give the gift of love is one of God's greatest gifts. ENJOY!
Rating: Summary: Love You Forever Review: Today is the first time I heard this book. My teacher read it to us in class before we started working on our Mother's Day project. I could relate to this book because I have a mom that is as loving and endearing as the mom portrayed in the story. I think that when I grow up and I'm on my own, my mother will continue to watch over me and take care of me, too. Along with the painting I made in class for my mother, I'd like to give her a copy of "Love You Forever." Happy Mother's Day, Mom!
Rating: Summary: A Child's Love is Forever Review: This story truly communicates the love between a parent and a child in such a simple but powerful way. I loved this book!
Rating: Summary: Love, A Forever Thing Review: Love You Forever is a "tear jerker" book about the love that a parent has for her children. An unconditional love that lives in one's heart for another human. No matter how old the child gets, a parent holds one's child in a warm spot and nothing can change that. This book is recommended for anyone, young or old, who has a heart.
Rating: Summary: Those are My Happy Tears Review: Everytime I read this book rather to myself or outloud to others I always tear up.The first time someone read this to me I was caught of guard and tears began to shed. As I read this to other children they were always concerned about the tears. I always explain to them that they are happy tears!
