Summary: A favorite among toddlers!
Review: I worked in a day care center with toddlers aged 14 months to 36 months. The day care center had a really huge selection of baby books for the toddlers, but this book and another book that featured different types of dog barks were the favorites. The younger toddlers kept carrying these books over to me so they could hear me make funny sounds. Many of the older toddlers loved imitating all of the animal sounds. I should also add that I think the kids really prefer this more when you really try to sound like the animals and sing the la-la-la part instead of just saying "Moo, Baa, LaLaLa" like some people do.

Summary: A wonderful classic!
Review: I STILL remember this favorite...I know it by heart from reading it first to my nephew, then to my son, now aged 9 and 8. I can recall them both as toddlers saying "la, la, la" when we'd get to those 3 singing sheep! This is a MUST have for every child aged 1 to 2.

Summary: Best First Baby book
Review: I am reading this book to my 3 month old who is already responding to the bright pages and silly sounds. This is my 3rd child and my older ones are 10yrs and 8yrs-they still love the book. It was one of the first they actually learned to read. Our next favorite is "But Not the Hippopotamus!" I buy this for all my friends with new babies.

Summary: I love Sandra Boynton
Review: I'm a huge fan of Sandra Boynton books, ever since I bought "Barnyard Dance" for my older son when he was an infant. Ms. Boynton doesn't disappoint with this book either. My sons love to make the same sounds as the animals and this book is always a fun read.

Summary: Even my 3 month old loves it!
Review: I read to my 3 month old even though she is a bit young for books, and she loves the rhythmic sounds of this book (and all the other Sandra Boynton books). She likes to touch and coo at the pictures too. I'm sure this will be a favorite for a long time!

Summary: Another great book by Sandra Boynton
Review: My daughter loves these books because they have these little cute rhymes and what we like to do is make little songs out of them and that makes it more fun for us to read!

Summary: A lesson on how to teach animal sounds
Review: I couldn't believe my son's daycare provider when she told me that this was his absolute favorite book. When I bought it for him, I thought it would just be another fun one to read. But, this book really, REALLY teaches kids the sounds animals make. My son wasn't really saying a whole lot of words yet, but when I would read this book, all I would have to say was the first part of the sentence "The cow says..." and he would entusiastically say "MOOOOOOOO". It is now to the point where I don't even need the book. I just say "The sheep says...", and he will say "BAAAA". This is such a cool tool to use to teach animal sounds to little toddlers. I highly recommend it to any parent whose child is just beginning to speak.

Summary: Wonderfully Fun!
Review: This is our son's favorite book, and ours too. The pictures are delightful, the rhyme is wonderful, and he has so much fun turning the pages. We've read it so many times that we can recite it by heart.

Summary: Moo, Baa, LA,LA,LA
Review: This children's book is filled with many creative learning opportunities. Sandra Boynton uses creative word play and rhyme to capture even the youngest child's imagination. The illustrations are captivating and successfully retain my infants interest. We received this book as a gift and began reading it to our 3 month old. Within one month he began "reading" it all the time and it has become his favorite. A great pick for even young babies.

Summary: The best book!!
Review: My son is 13 months and loves this books- and all of her books. They are perfect for his age and they totally captivate him. He laughs out loud and the silly things in her stories. He loves these books so much that when he his screaming his head, we pull out this book and he immediately stops and smiles.
