Rating: Summary: LA LA LA! Review: My 16 month-old daughter has had this book for three months and she can't get enough of it. She runs to me, book in hand, saying LA LA LA! At the beginning, all I had to say is, "Moo, Baa" and she was able to complete the sentence with LA LA LA. Now, we're up to "What does the cow say? What does the sheep say?" and she replies "Moo", "Baa"... The experiences with my daughter have proved that Sandra's books are great influences on beginning talkers!
Rating: Summary: My Daughter's Favorite Book! Review: Moo, Baa is an absolute must have. We bought it for my daughter when she was about 11 months. It is now (17 months) falling apart -- you can't read it to her just once -- 3 or 4 times is more like it. My wife and I both have it memorized by now! These are great books for a toddler and you can't go wrong with them.
Rating: Summary: First book to make my little one laugh Review: I received Moo, Baa, La La La at a baby shower and started reading it to my son when he was 4 months old. Even at that age, he responded with coos and much arm waving when we brought out this book. It was the first book he laughed out loud at, and now at 9 months, he still gets excited when we sit to down to read it. (My husband and I also enjoy it and have often found ourselves quoting it -- to the confusion of anyone who overhears us.)
Rating: Summary: This is a book you MUST have! Review: We got this book for our 4 year old daughter when she was 2, and it became her all-time favorite book. It helped her to increase her speech by saying fun things. We then introduced it to our 2nd daughter when she was 20 months old, and she also adores this book and it is the one she always gets every night and says "book" to have it read. We only say the first part of each page (i.e., "The pigs say...") and she always finishes the second part (i.e., "LaLaLa"). This is an absolute must have along with "But Not The Hippopotamus" by Boynton. These are GREAT gifts for baby showers or 1st birthdays. If you are considering ordering this - Go ahead and do it now! You WON'T be sorry that you did!
Rating: Summary: Moovelous! Review: Loved this book! A fun way to teach your child the sounds animals make and the ending presents the opportunity to have your child say what is on his/her mind (though I don't think that is a problem for most kids) and talk about more animals and their sounds. I think it is wonderful that the book "asks" your child what they want to say.
Rating: Summary: Warning! Danger, danger Will Robinson! Review: I read this book to my baby brother, and loved it. It was so cute, and the illustrations made us both laugh. But I should warn you: the cute-but-not-cutesy rhyming can be addictive. I spent the rest of the day chanting, "Mooo, baaa... la la la!"
Rating: Summary: Nothing Beats "La La" Review: My son loves this book so much I'm buying it again. Our first book finally gave out after being read a thousand times and now he now picks up every book to see if it's his "La La" book. This is the first book that got him interested in reading!
Rating: Summary: best book Review: My daughter loves this book! We can read it 30 times a day and it never gets old.
Rating: Summary: La la la! Review: Buy this book, and the first time you hear your child sing "la la la" after you say "Three singing pigs say...," you'll know you got your money's worth.
Rating: Summary: Buy this book! Review: This is such a wonderful children's book. It is fun, and silly and children love it. I buy it as a shower gift for every baby I know.
