Summary: this book never fails to delight my baby
Review: First read as a library book, my baby and I enjoyed this book so much I had to buy it and I am now purchasing it again as a gift. The clever sing-song words, along with the whimsical illustrations make reading this book an enjoyable learning experience. We have become great fans of Sandra Boynton, now owning five books and looking forward to adding more!

Summary: Can't stop reading it
Review: I bought this book for my 8 month old daughter and she cannot get enough of it! When I tell her "Moo, Baa, La La La", she quickly crawls to it and brings it to me. She especially likes the singing pigs part. The only problem is, is that when I finish reading the book, she gets quite upset, and I end up reading it at least 5 times at each sitting! I would highly recommend this book.

Summary: Moo, Baa, La La La !
Review: My Mommy and I really enjoyed this and many of Sandra Boynton's other books. They are fun to read and the pictures are great. Her books are very educational in teaching children the alphabet and animal sounds. I recomend this book to everyone and anyone who needs a great big smile!

Summary: This book surprised me....
Review: I ordered this book for my son from a book club when he was about 10 months old. I thought the art was adorable, but did not think he was really "getting into" it. He quickly learned, from the simple and fun text, the animal sounds...and even knows that a horse says "neigh." He is 16 months old now, and it is one of his favorites.

Summary: Both My Daughters Love This Book!
Review: This is a great book! I originally checked it out of the library for my older daughter when she was a baby, but wound up buying it because she liked it so much. We eventually acquired another copy, and both are well-worn. My older daughter is now almost 5, and she reads the book to her 15-month-old sister. If we ask my younger daughter what the cow says, she can tell us, "Moo!" and so on. One day she picked up a diaper with a picture of pigs on the tab, and when I asked her what they were, she answered, "La la!" This is one to read over and over!

Summary: Fun Book for Animal Sounds
Review: We have been reading this book to my daughter since she was 4 months old. Now at 14 months, this is her favorite book, which she asks for by name (La La). She can make all of the animal sounds at the right times, and we get a real kick out of reading it to her. It is much more fun than other animal sounds books from a parent's perspective since it has a nice rhyme and rhythm to it, and it has a little more interest than a simple "The animal says...". We read all the Boynton books, but at 14 months, this is by far our favorite!

Summary: Sandra Boynton is the best!
Review: This book is so fun! We bought "Moo, Baa, La La La", "But Not the Hippopotamus", "A to Z", "Fingers, Toes and Everything In Between", "Doggies" and "The Going to Bed Book", all at the same time. Our son was 1 at the time. Now we have a 2 year old daughter. They have both loved them so much, the books are falling apart from being read! We plan on having more children and will be buying the books again to replace the worn out ones! You will absolutely love them!

Summary: Moo, Baa, LA LA LA
Review: My daughter is 3 years old now and still loves this book. We received it as a baby shower gift. During some of the long nights when we first got home, I would read her this book because I enjoyed it so much. The rest of the family - even the 2 teenagers - enjoyed reading it also. It quickly became the favorite and the "Moo book" is read every night. The book is falling apart - due to an unexpected trip into the bathtub one night :) - and we try not to use it too much so we just recite it from memory. I'm buying 5 copies for friends that are having babies and a couple more for me. I want to put one away for my daughter to have for her kids some day and "grandma and grandpa" will need one too! Buy it -- you won't regret it!

Summary: A definite find
Review: I bought this book for my 4-month old son, because I think that this is the stuff he can relate to, rather than books with more words. The fact that I am a fan of Sandra Boynton's greeting cards did not prepare me for the sheer delight of this book. It's genius! The baby responds to the easily recognizable sounds, the background colors of the pages, and who knows what else: he starts wriggling in anticipation as soon as i put the book in front of him. For grownups, this book sounds like Dada poetry, it's like an inside joke, and you can't stop laughing at it. Once I went back to work, I would call home and recite parts of it, and he would laugh and call "Mama!" I'm going to recommend it to everyone I know who has kids. It's a delight!

Summary: The favorite book of every child I know -- 2mos - 2 yrs
Review: I inherited this book from my sister-in-law, who got it from her best friend, our children all love this well worn book. I started reading this to my liitle girl at 2 months, now, we bring the book out and she immediately starts grinning. In fact to get her to smile while a photographer was taking her picture, all we had to do was recite the first few lines, (which we of course know by heart now) the photographer was amazed that she smiled on cue every time. She's 4 and a half months old, and she's learning to turn the pages! Let me at the rest of those Sandra Boynton books!
