Summary: Great Album....Awful Production
Review: This is a great CD. Not Metallica's best, but definately up there. The problem I have is the lack of Jason's bass. Why didn't they mix this CD better? I would rather wait for the REMASTERED edition which will hopefully come out soon.

Summary: After ten years, it still crushes my skull
Review: Listen up. Ive been listening to this cd for over 10 years. I am currently on my fourth copy. This cd just plain brings it. The riffs are powerful and energetic and display creativity. I dont even care about the lack of bass, as the guitars provide enough punch as to actually knock my speakers off of the shelf(not an exaggeration! )! Hetfield and the boys are like a freight train on this album. If you want to try something therapeutic, Put on this album and punch a punching bag! If more people did this there would be a lot less violence

Summary: poor production. SFW! This is Metallica.
Review: Yes, I have to admit, the production of "And justice...", was not good. BUT, this album contains the pinnacle and example of good metal music,"ONE". Metallica will always be Metallica from "Garage Days", to "S&M". D

Summary: awesome lifting music
Review: Metallica's unique style and sound give them a heavy aura! I love to listen to them in the gym. There speedy riffs get you pumped and you can lift like a mad man. I just like Metallica since they have outlasted most of the other "metal bands". They never seem to lose there momentum or their coolness. Keep the great sounds pouring out guys.

Summary: a huge let down; poorly produced
Review: A huge disappointment. What LOUSY production! They should have stayed with Flemming for this one. Metallica peaked with "Master of Puppets." The Black Album was better than "...And Justice" but I totally lost interest in them when "Load" came out. I've met them and was a huge fan in the early 80s'. I'm not a huge fan anymore, although I'll never part with their GREAT recordings in my collection.

Summary: The first of the stinkers
Review: By his own admission Kirk Hammett overplayed on this one and even he can't stand to listen to it anymore, not that he's such a good guitarist anyway.

Summary: Metallica rocks my socks with "....And Justice For All"
Review: Metallica escapes the whiney girl-esk sound of the 80's on this album with heavy hitting songs like "One" and "The Shortest Straw." The "...And Justice for All" song is one of their most insightful songs and in my opinion the best song they've ever produced. Also check out faster paced tracks like "Dyers Eve." There's just not enouph bands like Metallica out there that are still at the heart of rock and roll: being AGAINST the system, not just stupid songs about life. I don't mind the recording quality when you have musical quality the strength of Metallica. This is a must have for any Metallica fan.

Summary: Best Metal Album
Review: And Justice for All is the without a doubt the best written metal album ever by the best metal band ever. It has been interestiing to watch Metallica's devolution to the Load/RE-Load era. Metallica set the stage for the heavy metal bands like Korn and Sevendust. Bad production or not, a must have for the current fans of Korn, Limp Bizkit, etc.

Summary: And Justice For All...
Review: Another masterpiece by the best Metal band of the era. This is the last of the typical Metallica sounding albulms. the first, well second, but first widly available albulm with bassist Jason Newsted. This albulm is HARD HEAVY FAST, the last one the whole abulm is just great and i hate to say any tracks are better than others, but ONE is probobally the best track on the albulm. It includes some sounds from the movie Johnny Got His Gun, but the song has a great theme dealing with War and lives being taken in War. A must for every metal fan.

Summary: Metallica's Last Thrash Hurrah
Review: This album is great, has great songwriting, but the sound quality is terrible. I disagree with everone who says that they should re-record the album. This album wouldn't be as classic and wwouldn't sound the same if they recorded it again. You can feel their pain in losing Burton in this recording. It's fine the way it is, and personally the shoddy recording quality stays true in 'Tallica's no cares attitude.
