Rating: Summary: almost like going beyond our solar system, higher inteligenc Review: Metalica's all around talent is and has been remarkable and has brought rock way above what anyone could have imagined. The lyrics amazingly feel as if they are magicly comming from within me "ya i've been there Bro". so hear is a standing "O" for the greatest of all time, METAL-ICA...J.V.DAVIRRO
Rating: Summary: This album is one of the best Metallica albums ever! Review: This, in my opinion, is the best Metallica album second only to "Master of Puppets." It has driving guitars and powerful rhythms. That "Shortest Straw" song is the best example of this. And who can forget the unbelievable intricacies and musical skill of the classic "One." I still jump around in my bedroom while listening to that song once it gets going! If you like this album, you might want to check out some lesser known acts that don't get enough recognition or attention but should. Some great band sto check out include Machine Head, Earth Crisis, Strife, One King Down, Vision of Disorder, and Culture. I think all thes eguys can be found on Amazon.com, too. These guys tear it up just like the Metallica of old, but have more socially conscious and generally more positive lyrics. Definitely a bonus in my book!
Rating: Summary: Complex and powerful. Review: From Blackened's fade in to Dyer's Eve's abrupt halt, there are no skippable moments. What can't be said? Like the theme of the song's lyrics, the title track begins with a pretty motif that is corrupted and positively shredded by distortion; Dyer's Eve twists and turns in a musical display of desperation, and To Live Is To Die sports the loveliest, most tear jerking melodies ever heard amidst such a hellish din. No metal band has come close to this level of excellence before or since. (Not even Metallica!)
Rating: Summary: Best rock/metal album of all time. Review: This is with out a doubt Metallica's finest work. And Justice For All is in my opinion the greatest album of all time period. It contains some of the most creative and difficult guitar riffs ever. James' voice sound the best it ever sounded. And Lars Ulrich shows the full extent of his unbelievable drum talent (especially in Dyers Eve). All in all this is one fine album. If you dont have it, make it a definate future purchase.
Rating: Summary: A very very cool album. Review: Some people say that all the song's on this almbum sond the same and are the same. Well I say to them you're wrong. I think that this album is absolutely awesome. Especially Frayed end's of sanity, Harvester of sorrow, Dyers eve and One. The lyric's really are about something not like some music.
Rating: Summary: I think the book is good Review: The book is really good except for the main "Blackened" rif

Rating: Summary: Totaly Awesome Review: I love METALLICA, I am 16. I have only been listening to you guys for about 3 1/2 years, and you are my favorite band in the world and nothing will change that. Metallica is the greatest band out there, this is a really good CD, it is one of my favorites. Well to the people that make up metallica, "IF YOU GUYS DIE, THEN ROCK DIES WITH YOU".
Rating: Summary: Would be 5 if I could hear the Bass! Review: This cd has Metallica's best song (One), best song-writing (To Live is To Die), yet the worst production I've ever heard. Even my sub-woofer couldn't receive any bass from this recording. Though it was remastered in '95, no bass was added. This would be my favorite 'tallica album if it were recorded to actually sound like heavy metal instead of "thin, bass-free rock." I mean the solo's sound like MIDI's! This is a good album, but better production could have made it great.
Rating: Summary: Very good! Metallica's best to date! Review: I first heard this album when I borrowed my cousin's c.d. I listened to it and loved it! It is Metallica's best c.d. that i've heard. It has two flaws though; "Eye Of The Beholder" and "Harvester Of Sorrow" aren't that good, but the rest of the songs rock! I have only listened to two other Metallica c.d.'s besides this one; "Master Of Puppets" and "Metallica". They are both very good too. I can't wait to listen to other Metallica c.d.'s. I highly recommend this c.d. if you like hard rock music! ROCK ON METALLICA!!
