Summary: Best Metallica CD in the collection
Review: Metallica's fourth album rocked. All members played very well. Each song has rough sounds, cool lyrics, and pissed off guitars. This album also debuted the replacement for former bassist, Cliff Burton, that being Jason Newsted. It seems after this album, Metallica lightened up just a bit. If you want good Metallica, check out this CD.

Summary: Metallica's best album to date
Review: I consider "And Justice" to be the finest of Metallica's work to date. James Hetfield's vocals are vastly improved over his earlier efforts, the guitar work is little short of sensational, the drumming great, and, most importantly, the content and quality of the songs is consistently and artistically superb. Overall- a masterpiece!

Summary: An album of unsurpassed aggression and power
Review: While I do not completely agree with critics who believe Metallica has sold out with their last two (or three) albums, certainly something has been lost in the ten years since "...And Justice for All" was released. If you are looking for the best mix of power and melody, then the Black Album probably fits the bill. But if you are searching for an album with edge, this one is unsurpassed. It doesn't matter what mood I am in, I love to listen to it. Hetfield's lyrics are surprisingly intelligent, while Hammett's guitar is unrelenting in its power. To me, this album is the model for all metal.

Summary: My Favorite Metal Album
Review: Almost ten years after this album came out (I bought it the first day) I still listen to it at least once or twice a week. As a lifelong metalhead, I think this album sets a standard miles above what any other metal album has ever attained. The absolute, sheer technical mastery displayed on tracks like One and And Justice For All and the austere majesty of the instrumental To Live Is To Die make it all the more tragic that Metallica dumbed down their music after this magnum opus, which is not speed metal but rather a very heavy, powerful, dark, certain, intense musical vision. I think musically and technically it's easily superior to Master of Puppets (but hey, buy 'em both!) - plus it cranks like a mother! This is the album to anchor any metal or hard rock collection.

Summary: GET IT!!
Review: This is the best Metallica album in my opinion. All songs are good. The song structures are amazingly complex and pleasant to listen to, after all the redundant mainstream crap on the radio. The lyrics are intellegent and thought-provoking, revealing Hetfield's true songwriting talent. Best song: "One" is the saddest and most powerful combination of music and words I ever listened to. This CD is real art, open your mind and listen...

Summary: A REALLY COOL ALBUM BY METALLICA!!
Review: THIS IS MY THIRD FAVORITE ALBUM AND IT'S REALLY COOL!! IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT, BUY IT!!

Summary: Pure Mastery by the Metal Masters
Review: While it was tough to pick this one as the best with the likes of Master of Puppets and the Black Album, ...And Justice for All shows the true talent Metallica first showed off in Ride the Lightning. It is simply the best overall album they have to offer. Songs like the emotional "One", the loud, angry "Dyer's Eve", and the epic "...And Justice for All", this album is definitely a great place for any metal fan to begin a collection. Once you get it and listen to it, you'll know you've acquired a true masterpiece.

Summary: you're kidding, right?
Review: anything pre-load is exquisite. the edge has since been lost. kinda like a crown waiting for someone to pick it up and claim it. what can i say? cliff died, the band sold out, and i can understand it. no necessary connection. they were hot, they made it, and then they played to the multitude. they lasted longer than most. then again, i'm a die hard. great music never dies.

Summary: The 3rd best Metallica CD Ever
Review: Its best songs are Blakenend, And Justice For all, Eye of The Beholder, (and my second favorite song ever) One. All around its a pretty good CD.

Summary: UNTOUCHABLE!!!!
Review: AND JUSTICE FOR ALL is the tightest, fastest, most headbangin CD to date from the greatest metal band, of this era, and quite arguably of all time. Once again, the boys have managed to out do themselves without comprimising their musical integrity to please bigtime record ecec's. With songs like BLACKENED, FRAYED ENDS OF SANITY, and DYERS EVE, METALLICA has created some of the fastest, cleanest, hardhitting metal tracks in history. I have been a METALLICA fan since the days they played some very small venues and have collected just about everything that has been put out bootleg or otherwise, and I have got to say that this CD rates right at the top. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THIS ONE. IT IS A MUST BUY!!!
