Rating: Summary: Fantastic! Review: I bought and read this book over a year ago, and I still can't get over how great it was. I had this book read from cover to cover in a day or two because I couldn't bring myself to put it down. I've read a lot of these "teen girl" books and this is one of my absolute favorites. The characters are so realistic which makes it so easy to relate to them. When Jessica writes her innermost thoughts in her diary, you will constantly find yourself thinking, "Oh my gosh!! I thought I was the only person in the world who thought like that!" It's funny, it's sad, it will make you angry, and it will surprise you. I guarantee that you will love this book and start counting the days until the sequel comes out. Trust me.

Ever since her best friend, Hope, moved away, 16-year-old Jessica Darling has never been more grumpier! ...But her life begins to change when she meets a boy named Marcus Flutie...and it takes the turn for the weirdest!!

Rating: Summary: Not So Sloppy Review: I loved this book. It was so true. It felt like I was confiding in a friend. Jessica Darling is my new favorite heroine. I can't wait for the sequel...
Rating: Summary: Amazing book! Review: This book DEFINATELY goes on my list of Top 10 Books of All Time. It's amazing. From start to finish it kept my attention. The way the author portrays Jessica's High School (and home) life is so realistic, it is very easy to relate to. I'll be first in line to buy the sequel ("Second Helpings") when it comes out in April 2003!
Rating: Summary: Sloppy Firsts!! Review: Sloppy Firsts is a great book! Its centers on Jessica Darling and her high school experience. Jessica is trying to find who she is while dealing with her best friend Hope moved away and is now left with her "friends" which she says have no depth. Jessica writes everything in her journal,( which is how the book reads) and deals with high school itself, boys, and friends. It a great funny book!
Rating: Summary: Sloppy Firsts Review: Wow. This is one of my most favorite books. This is a perfect expantation of most teenage girl's life, in a perfect setting. Jessica Darling or "Darlene" or "Notso", was perfectly hysterical in good times and bad. She reminded me of myself at most times. I recamend this book to any girl of any age. Wow.*Rissa*
Rating: Summary: This great! can't wait for Second Helpings Review: This is a great book--a quick read that really draws you in. Rating: Summary: My Bus Ride Read... Review: On my way to school each morning I pulled out "Sloppy Firsts", the story about Jessica Darling (or Not-so-Darling) and her life after best friend Hope moves away. My 20 minute ride went by too fast and all throughout the day I couldnt wait for the ride home so I could start reading again. I always have a ton of homework and dance class at night so I couldn't read it then, but even before I fell asleep I would try to squeeze in atleast 5 pages before my eyes closed. If you're a girl...any kind of girl whatsoever...from the ages of 14-17 I guarantee that you will LOVE "Sloppy Firsts"..it's awesome!!
