Summary: I liked it
Review: I feel that she had to do what she had to do, and i respect her for that.

Summary: Raw reality
Review: Shockingly poor writing, but a vivid, exciting story kept me from throwing it across the room. What happened to her editors? What happened to second drafts? A great tale of making it in business by using your head and not your heart; unfortunately, Carmen is undone when she breaks her own rules.

Summary: Let That Be The Reason
Review: I absolutely hated this book. I heard so many good things about it, so I bought it. It had to be one of the worse books I ever read. It had no excitement and didn't even hold my interest very long. At first I liked Carmen, but it turned out that she wasn't as smart as she thought she was. At one point the book got so boring I had to skip around and try to find something interesting, but I never did. So instead of wasting your money on this book, you should read, Hustler's Wife, True to the Game or B-More Careful. These books are good from beginnig to end, don't sleep on them.

Summary: Let that be the reason
Review: Oh my god...I was so angry when I finished reading this only because the sequal won't be out until next year...This book was so good on my goodness. It was a very quick read because you could not put it down. When I was done with this I quickly passed my copy on to someone who doesn't read often and not this style but he loved it also...I will definitely reread it before I read the next book. I loved every part of this book it was exciting and true. Ms. Stringer really hit this in true form when it came to the game and the streets. Where have you been hiding and please come to Cleveland and share your next book with us. I just can't wait. Please "let this be the reason" we see you soon.

Summary: Please give me more
Review: I'm an avid reader and I can't wait to get into "Imagine This" due out this fall. She had a short story in Shannon Holmes' "The Game" and that was off the hook too. She is hot and I love it. Don't stop.

Review: SAVE YOUR MONEY,THIS BOOK WAS A WASTE OF MY MONEY AND TIME,

Summary: Phenomenol
Review: I just completed "Let That Be The Reason" and I thought it was phenomenol. I have already recommended the book to several people. This story is that of a special one, primarily because it allows individuals to read something they can relate to. I am from the city of Detroit and I can definitely relate to your story. I was never a hustler myself but my father was very big in the game. After dating many dealers and after my fathers fall there were many many times where I thought about entering. I think the author was very strong to have endured the things she did and even stronger to have shared it. Through reading the bios of K'wan and Nikki turner I see the most positive thing that the author and "Carmen" share is the passion to help others get ahead. Can't wait to read "Imagine This".

Summary: Just words of good
Review: My name is Asia Lee and I purchased this book three days ago and I'm already done. I just want to write this review because to many people love to summit negative thing and not enough people want to voice the good things people do. Even though I've never gone waht Carem did, I could still feel the doubts, the sadness, the headaches, the happiness, in her life. I wanted to say that Through your writing I could see and feel what Carmen was going through. And as I mentioned I've never been through what Carmen did but I know those who are and have gone through it and this book lets you see deeper into the minds of those who have to hustle on a daily basis. I make it a point in my life not to judge others and there lives and the books just opens my mind even more. In short, after all this rambling I just wanted to say that I enjoyed the book and I can't wait until the next one.
Thank you
Have a good day, year, and life.
Asia J. Lee

Review: A WOMAN OF COURAGE, STRENGTH AND GAME. THIS BOOK WAS DA B-O-M-B!

Summary: There is no reason ...to waste time reading this book
Review: I really expected this to be a good book. It starts out slow and goes no where. The dialogue is very unconvincing from people who are supposed to be from the hood and keeping it real. The only reason that I finished this book was to see if it would eventually improve but unfortunately it did not. It's been a long time since I have read a book this bad. I hope the author has better luck with her next book...but that won't be a reason for me to buy it.
