Rating: Summary: Savage Mixes Humor with a Clear Warning Review: What a read! Savage explains how the left wing has planned a revolution of values and has virtually succeeded in replacing their brand of tripe for the traditions and values that served us well since the founding fathers established our nation. He clearly makes the case that we face far more dangers from the ultra left wing revolutionists among us than any Bin Laden could ever dream of.
Rating: Summary: The Best Review: I got chills reading this book. Ive read many books, on similar issues, but this one really touched a nerve. Michael Savage is not another blowhard for the Republican Party, he holds both parties accountable. When I picked up this book, I couldn't set it down. Not many like this one, I promise you that. READ IT & SEE
Rating: Summary: Michael (Whiner) Weiner tells all.... Review: ....I was dissapointed that the book didn't contain Michael's recent radio suggestion that we send smallpox infested blankets to Iranian earthquake victims. His hate and xenophobia know no bounds. Read at your own risk.
Rating: Summary: The truth hurts Review: It amazes me that people who have not read a book can rate the book because they disagree with the author. I guess freedom of speech is only valid for liberals. If you disagree with liberals you are a hate monger or whatever the catch-phrase of the month is. Savage clearly points out the corruption evident in the ACLU and judges who create law instead of interpret it. This is a great read. I recommend it to anyone who would like to learn about whats happening to our great country!
Rating: Summary: Interesting reading! Review: Mr. Savage writes with conviction and makes a lot of sense on some of the topics he tackles. I found his book to be very interesting.
Rating: Summary: A call to action to save America Review: In this book's preface, the author insists, "(America is) infinitely great, and infinitely corrupted by liberalism. America is crying for those who will defend her against the Enemy Within." This assertion is then backed up by over two hundred pages of facts, most of which are profoundly disturbing. Michael Savage's moral clarity, wit, and humor rings through every page as he spells out the liberal assault on America's faith, schools, universities, media, health care system, military and courts. In the chapter, Morality: The Bible Belt vs. The Libel Belt, we read of PETA's latest outrage, the Holocaust on Your Plate campaign, in which pictures of Holocaust victims in concentration camps are placed alongside those of animals in slaughterhouses. As a grandchild of Holocaust survivors and an Orthodox Jew, words escape me to adequately describe this moral outrage and perversion. Savage writes, "At the very least, practicing Jews should be doing a letter-writing campaign. The leadership should be telling congregants not to give ten cents to environmental groups like this. That's what should be going on in the synagogues of America." Mr. Savage is right on target. Only a society that affirms man's creation in the image of G-d understands that there is a difference between a human being and an animal. Only a society that welcomes G-d and His word in the public sphere can ever hope to be saved from moral relativism, moral confusion, and moral depravity. This is Mr. Savage's impassioned plea and call to action, as he insists that each of us can and must make a difference in fighting the Enemy Within. In this culture war, America's very future is at stake here. I will conclude by sharing how moved I was by Savage's relating of his visit to the Lubavitcher Rebbe (Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson) and Lubavitch World Headquarters (770 Eastern Parkway) in the 1970's. Savage writes about the Rebbe (p.146), "Out came the head rabbi. I remember he was a revered, almost saintly, figure. After listening to him speak, I'd have to say no one like him has appeared in one hundred years. He was amazing. Between the chanting and his message, I have never felt as much public human emotion." Unlike Savage, I didn't have the great privilege and merit to see the Rebbe in his lifetime, yet, I, too, fully share his sentiments regarding him. Thank you Mr. Savage for your wonderful book. It will surely enlighten and spur many to action.
Rating: Summary: Paul Fischer. Another ignorant "left-wing fanatic" Review: Unlike Paul Fischer, who left a lousy rating on this book, I suggest reading the book before you make a comment about the context. A great book from front to back. Once you're done with it, pass it along to any self proclaimed liberal; it should change anyone with any common sense and values.
Rating: Summary: Speaks The Truth on Many Issues. Though Abrasive Review: As a libertarian there are many issues on which I agree with principled conservatives (mostly economic ones). While I do not share the concerns of Liberals "assaulting faith," there is no question that America is culturally bankrupt and moral relativists and anti-conceptual thinkers (both Left and Right, but mostly modern "liberals, who hijacked the term "liberal" btw) contribute to that. Since Conservatives and Liberals both operate from the same philosophical premises, both are guilty. While both are rooted in irrational mysticism, at least conservatives acknowledge the concepts of individual liberty and personal responsibility. Liberals half accept liberty ( though only on nihlistic and hedonistic terms)and completely reject responsibility. The most I can say about Savage is that he is usually right in conclusions despite his sometimes misguided reasons. I also think it is terrible that Amazon allows readers to comment on books they have not read just because they personally dislike an author. One person wrote that he would "not touch a Savage book with a ten foot pole" then he proceeded to bash Savage and give 1 star. Reviews such as this should not be allowed to be counted and drag down a book's rating. Other reviewers acted as if "liberals"(using that term loosely as most "liberals" are totalitarians) are some endangered minority, when in fact their terrible relativist philosophy runs the world.
Rating: Summary: Save America! Read this book! Review: If your tired of illegal aliens ruining America, If your tired of the Welfare Bums taking your tax dollars, If you want to save America's BORDERS LANGUAGE, AND CULTURE, read The Enemy Within!
Rating: Summary: Libs Missing the Point of Savage Review: For all those who call him a facist/nazi for wanting to guard against the liberal asault on our(AMERICAN) borders, language and culture, you are missing the point. He is a child of IMMIGRANTS stupid! Legal immigrants are happy to be here, and happy to want to be an American! They learn our history, and language, and respected our customs, and immigration laws and become productive citizens. Naturally their native cultures seep into ours making us even better(melting pot, duh). But their culture is not force fed down our throats like so many libs want to have happen. Libs want to banish our history and rewrite the books, and force our children to learn spanish and that all white men are bad. Appeaseing those who are too lazy to learn english. For what purpose? Becuase they want to help the little guy? My foot! The hidden agenda of these idiots is what Dr. Savage is exposing. The libs want to ruin our nation Under God, Indivisable, with Liberty, and Justice for all. Dr. Savage is a true U.S. Patriot. Libs, if you love the commie system so much, just move to the best one you can find, like France, ok? Thats all. Buy the book. Enjoy free speech. Oh yeah, Stay the hell out of Alaska. We like to kill and eat Moose and Bear. Thats what they are there for anyhow. Plus, it is just plain fun!
