Rating: Summary: a good book about loss Review: It's interesting how these demo mediums know so much about death and loss, how do they do it that's a good question. Is it that they play a sort of guessing game? Well the real answer is found on the pages of another book here at amazon Signals an inspiring story of life after life that's the true story not by a fake medium, walk don't run to the page , you can read enough excerpts to resonate with the real thing
Rating: Summary: Andrew` s miracle Review: I want to thank all readers of "One Last Time" for all the letters and kind words. I am Anthony Miracolo, father of Andrew (Ch.13) and Johns American history teacher. I sincerely hope our story has inspired all of you.
Rating: Summary: I wish for One Last Time Review: After reading this book, it brings me closer to understanding and accepting the loss of my father a year ago. I still am hoping for my one last time. John Edward is incredible! 3/31/00
Rating: Summary: One last time Review: Great book. One of the best I have read on this subject.
Rating: Summary: A definite Page turner! and Inspiring! Review: I have never been interested in Psychi meduims or anything of this nature, much less read a book about it. BUT this book has changed my whole outlook in this field. I could hardly put the book down and never wanted it to end. It gave me a better understanding of this field (not what I see and hear on tv) and I could relate to it. I finished the book in a week which is a record for me when I'm only reading on the train. I read it every possible moment and place I could, even at work.I do agree wtih the others that it is not as good as seeing him in person. If you ever get the oppotunity - GO!
Rating: Summary: BEST TO SEE AND HEAR HIM IN PERSON Review: Last evening, 2-25-00, I travelled 167 miles to see John Edward in person. I took off work, booked a hotel room, grabbed friend (who never even heard of him!) and off we went! This has been truly the most exciting and fulfilling experience I have ever participated in. I was not one of the "fortunate" one to have been chosen to be "contacted", but I was amazed at the insight and validation he gave to people who were. If you get a chance, read the book first, then book a show. It is well worth evey dollar spent! (PS: Don't waste your money on the reserved seats -- John comes right out into the audidence if he has a "message" for you! :-)
Rating: Summary: Couldn't put it down! Review: John Edwards- psychic medium- tells the story of his gift of relaying messages from the spirit world to love ones still living. John explains how he came to have this gift, how it developed, and some readings he felt were exceptionally special to him, and which helps us believe. He paves the way to making us "the living" comfortable with death, that it is not the end of our spirits, but just the beginning. It makes the reader feel more comfortable when they have lost someone close to them, believing that they are still with us.
Rating: Summary: Larger than Life Medium Review: I read this book in one day - at work & on my way to & from work. I couldn't put it down. Mr. Edward had me right there with him in all his accounts and stories. I heard him years ago on a radio program where I live and have always tried to get through to him but to no avail. I had to read his book, and now more than ever, I need to meet him and hope he can help me as he has many others validate the presences I only hope are around me. Good job, Mr. Edward. Please keep the books coming!
Rating: Summary: Not As Good As the Real Thing Review: Several years ago, I was first exposed to John Edward's ability through a radio show he did in KC. His talent was so impressive that I went out of my way to attend his public reading that evening. It was phenomenal--this guy is the real deal. I saw him the other day on Leeza and learned about this book. I bought it yesterday, read it today, and while it didn't reveal any tremendous insights--many of the stories he related at the public reading--it does give a good feel for what he does and how he works with his gift. However, you really have to see him in action to get a true appreciation for the connections he explains in his book.
Rating: Summary: Believeable Review: This is the best and most believeable book I've read on the subject of mediumship. John writes the story in an easy to read and follow manner, and presents himself as what he is: an "ordinary" guy from Long Isand who has extraordinary talent in this area. Other books I've read on this subject have made me into more of a believer of life after death, but there is something about John and the way he writes this story that really makes me a believer. He names names and times and places and isn't afraid to say that he thought "what a cliche" when he first found out his master guide was a Native American. (He gets his proof that this is true.) A must read.
