Summary: Very interesting reading
Review: I bought this book after seeing John on TV and I think he is very good at what he does and I was a fan of Sylvia Brownes work. But I really think John has one up on her, I'm not sure if it's because he's younger and can communicate with us easier but he's just great. I now stay up a half an hour past my bed time to watch him on the Sci-Fi channel.

While some readers may be skeptical at first, Edward is thoroughly convincing as he describes his first psychic experiences, his evolving gift for communicating with the spirit world, and his own gradual acceptance -- particularly with the death of his mother -- of the messages he was receiving and of their power to heal.

Review: John Edward is dynamic! I am so impressed after reading his book "One Last Time" he has opened many new doors of exploration for me.I was given John Edward's book "One Last Time" along with Jenny Crawford's book "Through the Eyes of Spirit" after the loss of my youngest daugther. Both books are contributing toward dealing with my heart ache and grief. I do hope to read more books by both authors. Thank you and God Bless you in your work.

Summary: Even if you doubt "afterlife", this book will make you think
Review: I got this book as a gift. It was very uplifting. I am not one who really does alot of thinking on the paranormal, but this really set the wheels-a-rollin in my head.

Review: I really wasn't looking for an autobiography of a medium, but Edward's book was recommended, so I thought I would give it a try. It was great! His style of writing, his experiences....anyone who is interested in this field will find this book very helpful. This book has, in fact, answered some of my questions, and has given me some inspiration. Very informative and enjoyable at the same time.

Summary: Comfort for those grieving the loss of a loved one...
Review: I first saw John Edward display his amazing gift on television last fall, and was intrigued by his ability, although I hadn't had the experience of losing someone close to me. Sadly, that all changed three months later when my father suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. I ordered this book shortly after my father's funeral, and was so comforted by what I read that I bought tickets to see John Edward in person for his book tour. Of about 400 attendees, about 20 received messages from their deceased loved ones, and I was one of the lucky few. This book has been so helpful to my grieving process, and seeing John Edward share his gift in person has left no doubt in my mind that our loved ones never really leave us. If you are grieving the loss of a loved one, this book is for you.

Review: I have read several books by several claimed psychic mediums and I have found there are only a few that are believable and Mr. Edward is among the top two of my favorites. His honesty and down to earthness comforted me in letting me know that there is more to life after here and that the person who I lost is safe and continuing to "live" on with us. if for nothing else I found great comfort and a sense of peace in One Last Time. I can't thank Mr.Edward enough.

Review: ONE LAST TIME comes the closest in the genre of recent books by mediums to describe what it is like to be a medium. The skeptics' favorite challenge to mediums is that they engage in cold reading of a gullible, bereaved clientele. I believe that ONE LAST TIME is an honest attempt on Edward's part to set the record straight, and he accomplishes this in an entertaining mix of anecdotal evidence and honest confession. That John Edward is currently participating as a research subject at the University of Arizona at the Human Energy Systems Laboratory under the auspices of Gary E.R. Schwartz, Ph. D., speaks volumes for Edward's credibility. For those who want to understand what it is like to be a medium, this book is for you.
