Summary: An incredible love story!
Review: I couldn't wait to read this book. I expected a great deal and I got it in this story. It was an incredibly touching, beautiful love story. I love books where you can feel the intense emotion between the hero and heroine, where you are so moved that all you can do is sigh - this is one of those books. I can't think of a single thing I didn't like. This is Christine Feehan at her finest. Like everyone else I wanted to hear the Dark One's story and it's a great story of self-discovery and the power of love. Buy it, read it, you won't be disappointed.

Review: Christine does it again! Christine Feehan continues to amaze and enthrall us with her talented work and vivid imagination. Her characters continue to surpass and surprise the reader with their emotional sincerity and love for each other. Savannah Dubrinsky is no shrinking violet who can be pushed around and dominated. She has power all her own and stands up to the most feared Carpathian, Gregori. She fears his power, his control, his invincible status within the ranks of their people, but she also comes to realize that he had been alone for most of his life, never being touched and cared for by anyone, always giving of himself, never being given to. She becomes his soulmate and gives herself to him, not lightly - never lightly, but comes to live with is powerful status and personality. Together they develop a relationship based on devotion and trust and dedication to their people. All in all, this was a dark book, but as the relationship between Savannah and Gregori matures and their love and dedication bring a shining bright light into the story line. And the addition of a human "friend" brings out a side of Gregori's personality that was not observed in any of the previous three books. I can definitely say that I eagerly await the newest title yet to come in her wonderful Carpathian series - Dark Challenge. It is sure to equal the talent and superior nature of all her previous titles, if not surpass them entirely.

Summary: Exciting and Sensual!
Review: Oh my, what can I say? The "Dark One's" story was as wonderful as I thought it would be. My only complaint is that I wish the book had lasted another 100 pages or so--just so I could have my fill of the greatest bad boy character I've read in many a year. Well, actually the book could have been 500 pages longer and I'd still want to read more about Gregori. Of course now I'm eager to read Julian's story in Dark Challenge, and will be waiting breathlessly for other books about Gabriel and Lucien, who the author tantalyzed the reader with in Dark Magic. I also want to read more about Gary, the hapless human who's now embroiled in the lives of all those enticing Carpathians. Keep writing Ms. Feehan! I can't wait!

Review: I didn't anticipate Gregori's story to be in the least funny, but it was! I loved this book. Okay, so both the hero & heroine are torturned, but there was still enough humor to keep me from going out and slashing my wrists. It was great.

Summary: A book hard to put down
Review: Dark Magic is the 4th book in the Dark Series and once again Christine Feehan has wove a very powerful story. Like the first three, it was just "Fantastic"! When I started the book I was unable to put it down until I had finished it and have read it twice since then. I recommend this book to everyone who loves vampire romance in a special way. Dark Challenge is the next book and due out in November 2000, Christine Feehan also has another book due out in November 2000 called "The Scarletti Curse" and it too sounds fantastic. I recommend everyone who is a Christine Feehan fan to check out her web page and read the experts on these two new books due out soon. You too will have a hard time waiting for November to get here.(smile)

Review: The only better story would have been if I took the hero home myself...I have followed the Dark Series from the beginning, and Chris Feehan has NOT let us down with this, her latest release. We have been aching to see how Gregori's pain would be soothed, and Savannah turned out to be just the balm to end his tortured nights. At first I wanted to Shake her up and scream at her "Are you insane JUMP ON HIM HE IS GREGORI!" But the story would have been over on page one...lol It was passionate Oh Gregori was as sexy as ever!)and one could see how Savannah grew to become the light to overcome the awful darkness in Gregori! AHHH Now I can just close my eyes and dream of Nov. and Juian's release...LOL

Review: In DARK MAGIC, Gregori is an ancient Carpathian who is on the brink of turning into a vampire. She fears his power especially after he loses control and almost kills her. She brings him back from the darkness just in time and becomes his beacon of light. In doing this, Savannah gets to know her lifemate and learns to understand him. She sees past the hunter, past the image of the Dark One, and sees a man of unwavering honor and loyalty who is willing to put her life and the lives of their people before his own without hesitation. Once these two lifemates are joined to one another completely, the chemistry between them is electrifying. I never melted so much in my life! It is this chemistry that adds humor, passion-OH, MY GOD!- and romance to this compelling story. Add a menacing Vampire and a society of psychotic vampire hunters and you've got yourself a fantastic page-turner that will enthrall you until the very end. DARK MAGIC is the first of the DARK series books that I have ever read and I absolutely loved it. I was so impressed by the Carpathian males and their search for their lifemates that I purchased all of the previous books. I can't wait to start reading them. Review: If you love romance with shapeshifting vampires that loves only once, a bit of action with a side kick thrown in you will love this story. Gregori finally gets his story, and from the first page this story graps you and takes you on a erotic tale filled with mystery, action and love. I loved this story, Gregori was a secondary character that has shown up in all of Christine's books. He is so dark and masterful, he hunts vampire's and is crazy in love with Savannah, Mikhail and Raven's daughter, main character's from Dark Prince. If you want a love story, action, sex and murder than this is the story for you.
