Summary: Lady Be Good is better than good, it's fantastic!
Review: I've been a fan of SEP since the cereal scene in Nobody's Baby but Mine. And every new book, every book I've backlisted since has only enhanced my love of this author's work. Lady Emma and "Kinny's" adventure is just another five star in SEP's resume, and another keeper on my shelf.

Summary: Pure magic
Review: This book is as good as Dream A Little Dream. The characters were all so wonderfully real! The sub-plot with Dexter and Torie was great. Kenny and Emma were wonderful. The best thing about Phillips's books is that the heros don't run from their problems, they stay and fight, and they don't need a near disaster to realize they are in love.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Anxiously awaited but ultimately disappointing
Review: Sorry to say I found this not as engaging as Dream A Little Dream or It Had to Be You. Lady Emma was not a character I empathised with and the thread of the story was quite predictable. Liked the secondary romance. Please write another book soon Susan!

Summary: Not nearly as good as her other books...
Review: I have read most of SEP's books and I loved them, especially Nobody's Baby but Mine and Dream a Little Dream. But I found this book did not even come close to her earlier books. While some parts where funny, for the most part I thought the book was a drag. And Emma's character did not interest me much. I prefered the characters of Tori and Dex than to the main characters! Overall, not as good as her earlier reads. If you really want to read some of Susan Elizabeth Phillips best works try those!

Summary: Not quite up to par...
Review: I have read all of SEP's books, thus far. This one was probably my least favorite. I found it difficult to relate to the characters, they just weren't endearing. And the constant complaint that Lady E was too bossy became a very tired complaint thoughout this tale. I prefer Susan's more jovial characters, like Daisy in "Honey Moon" or any of the characters in "It Had to be You." While I enjoy Susan's style of writing, this book just didn't do it for me.

Summary: SEP made me laugh out loud-more than once! I liked it alot.
Review: It's not often that I find an established author that I like that I haven't read before. Phillips was funny, a quick read, and I recommended her to my sisters! She reminds me of the early work by Julie Garwood.

Summary: Thanks, everybody!
Review: I appreciate the wonderful comments so many of you made about LADY BE GOOD. As some of you know, it takes me a year to write a book, and I have to tell you that the year I spent with Kenny and Lady Emma was one of the happiest of my writing career. I never knew what they were going to do from one day to the next. (You don't really think I plan all this out, do you?) Summary: Lady be good...at what?
Review: I like Phillips! Her "It had to be You" was absolutely wonderful; this one was lame. Readers get bored when they read the same type of story over and over again. The hero is all rough and macho; the heroine chirpy and fiesty and she tames the man; and then they live happily ever after. Then there are those nosey; interfering relatives! Sorry, but this one just didn't do it for me. I didn't like the people and I didn't want to know them.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Very good, page turner, funny, engaging characters
Review: SEP, writes humorous, witty, compassionate books.A few others fans should not miss are Honey Moon, and Hot Shots. I patiently wait for the next release. I admire her talent for producing engrossing, believeable characters.

Summary: "Lady Be Good"...You Can't Get Any Better
Review: Lady Be Good is my second SEP book in the span of 3 days. I loved this book because the character's are funny, compassionate, and heart-warming. The plot and the character's kept pulling me deeper into this book. I also think I loved this book so much, because I can relate to Emma. We all want to find that special someone, to love, honour, and cherish for all the days of our lives, and Emma did. It gives me hope...
