Summary: Didn't expect this
Review: This book had some truly horrible parts in it. she was man handled and this Hero was so sure that he knew what best for her and there for disregarded her feelings. SOME sweet moments, but they were few and far between!

Summary: Dara Joy...Please write more of these!
Review: Knight of a Trillion stars is a great romance with a fanasy/science fiction theme. The main character Lorgin is Hot, Hot, Hot. There is a lot of comedy and action included along with some steamy scenes between Lorgin and Deanna. Dara Joy also introduces some other characters that appear in her next two Matrix of Destiny books. This book is an old favorite that I have read over and over. I was really dissapointed in her last novel "Ritual of Proof" and I wish that she would go back to the style of this romance that I really loved.

Summary: Terrible!
Review: This book inspired a very strong emotion in me. Unfortunately that emotion is anger. I'm angry that I paid money for this truly horrible book! To begin with, the plot was practically non-existent, the main characters were dangerously stupid, and worst of all the sex scenes were bland and completely boring. If you enjoy reading hot, erotic sex scenes, believe me you can do so much better than this! Try "Secrets Volumes 1-8" or Lisa Cach, Deborah Simmons, Linda Howard, and many others. I actually found some of the sex scenes here offensive since they almost went over the line of being rape. However in general, the sex was just plain ho-hum.
If it was just the sex that was bad I could have gotten over it. For me, great characters and an exciting plot can more than make up for other deficiencies. In this book however, not just one but both of the main characters are blithering idiots. The "heroine" of the book, Deana, is so passive she is almost childlike (another gross out factor in the sex scenes). The other characters treat her like a child and well they should since she acts like one. Much of the so called humor of the book involves Deana doing something stupid and everyone laughing at her. For me it was just embarrassing. But for me as a science fiction fan, Deana's worst sin is she has no curiosity. Here she is, going where no human has gone before (to coin a phrase), and she shows almost no interest. This was especially amazing given that she is supposed to be a science fiction writer. Actually I think this is consistent with her totally passive, bland personality. To be fair, Deana does have one redeeming characteristic - she has a wonderful ability to laugh at herself.
The "hero" Lorgin is one of the most immature main characters I've ever read about in a romance novel. He is so secure in his arrogance that he simply cannot conceive that he could ever be wrong about anything. This trait is especially dangerous since saying he's not the sharpest pencil in the box is a gross understatement. Usually cardboard characters like this are minor characters included in the book to provide comic relief. In this book, he is supposed to be the sexy leading man - lucky Deana. He does so many things that are completely juvenile like refuse to pronounce Deana's name correctly and cause a plane to almost crash because he is bored. That reminds me, Lorgin is supposed to have all these neat powers but he never uses them to help them out. So besides being immature, arrogant and stupid he is also useless! I kept hoping Lorgin would trip and fall down a chasm or something and Rejar would become the leading man. The book could have only improved.
This book is an all around stinker - don't waste your money on it!

Summary: Awesome Book!!!!!
Review: If you like a fantasy in your romance, then get this book!!!!!!!!! Dara Joy has really created something special with her Matrix of Destiny series. I love Lorgin and Deanna... they are such a cute couple... This is the first in the (right now)trilogy. Hopefully, there will be more of them on the way...

Summary: A fantasy romance "MUST HAVE"!!!!!
Review: Our heroine is having a really foul day.. so she does what most women love to do. She goes shopping! In a thrift shop, she is drawn to a really junky piece of jewelry.. which just happens to be a piece of a world gate. Our absolutely to die for hero is drawn to Earth in search of the necklace.. and then you simply can't put this book down.
It's what every good romance should be. Witty AND funny. Escapism at its best.

Summary: 1st in Matrix of Destiny-OOH Baby! Fantasy Romance Best!
Review: Ever wish someone who looked like the cover model who had a brain would fall through YOUR living room roof? What a way to start your evening huh? And after a crappy day of getting fired, getting blocked in your parking place by a fender bender, and getting yuck on your best trench coat. Of course he takes his light sword to your microwave... so you have to take him on a trip to the Golden Arches and a Science Fiction Convention. Later he just happens to decide that you're his wife and takes you with him to a different dimension and space...did I mention it's all because of a necklace you bought for $.50 in a junk shop. He's really got the wrong babe. Now you've just got to convince him, but he's so cute. Dara Joy makes you wish that like Deeanna/Adeeanna you could stay awhile with Logrin her Charl Knight who commands power over the four elements. Ms. Joy commands a similar power over her readers. The book is a must read. The hero & heroine are great.

Summary: Really enjoyed it
Review: I seldom read a futuristic romance, however, I do have to recommend this book to those readers that like a light hearted, fun romp thru the stars. It is written by Dara Joy & is a time-travel book as well. A present day Deana is having a really, really awful day...... right up to the moment she gets home to find an alien in her living room. (I'm sure she would have kicked him out if he hadn't been soooooo bloomin' sexy!) A lot of people reviewed the story as 'laugh out loud' funny & although I'm a little harder to make laugh than most, I will say that I smiled & chuckled frequently thru out it. (Now the 'morning after' the Transference was definitely 'laugh out loud' funny! You'll just have to read it!) More than once I really did want to tell our herione, Deana (or Adeanna as Lorgin, our super sexy hero, calls her) to pleeeease knock Lorgin in the head & MAKE him listen to her! Anyway, it's a really cute love story and quite fast paced - you're never sitting still for a moment. I wouldn't say that it's for those readers that need realistic situations in their books - but then we are talking time-travel here! :)

Summary: Another Dara Joy Triumph!!
Review: This book was great! It's the first in a series, followed by Rejar (which was also wonderful!), and then Mine To Take (three superbs in a row!). It starts with Deana at home after an awful day, and to add to that, she finds an alien on her living room sofa! What's a girl to do! Lorgin is a wonderful and sexy hero, ,to which his "Adeeann" is a perfect match. The only problem is I don't know where Traed's (another sexy character) story is!! Aagghh! Why hasn't Ms. Joy written that yet!? I'd recommend this book to anyone! It was truly a magnificent novel!

Summary: funny, sexy, fabulous!
Review: I loved this book! The characters are wonderful and sexy. I would recommend this to anyone. This is a great starter book for Dara Joy, her other books aren't as great as this one. A definite winner.

Summary: Kudos to Dara Joy on an excellent book!
Review: I read this book several years ago & remember how much I loved it. I would love to read more books like these. I rate this book for a "Trillion Stars" instead of 5 !
