Summary: Running out of time
Review: This book reminds me of a utility infielder. Strong at times but usually weak.

There were certain points that were exciting such as when she escapes from her town which until her mother tells her she thinks she lives in the 1800's.

This book has too many in-beetween areas. It took almost a full chapter for something else to happen that was exciting after she exscaped from her town. If you are a very patient person feel free to read this book. But if not you'd best find another book.

Summary: Excellent Book
Review: Running Out of Time by Margaret Peterson Haddix is one of the best books I have read in a long time. It follows the story of Jessie, a teenage girl who finds that her whole life has been a lie. She believes that she lives in the 1800s, in a village called Clifton. However, she discovers the shocking truth when a diptheria epidemic strikes the village, and Jessie is flung into the outside world, searching for the medicine that will save the ill children. An action-packed story, Running Out of Time has been a favorite of all that have read it. I highly reccommend it to young adults and adults alike.

Summary: Time Ran Away
Review: For a short read, Running Out of Time is top notch. The begining was not as exciting as I thought it could be. Toward the middle of the book, Jessie, the main character, is escaping her reconstructed village to search for help. As her journey continues she runs into dead ends and events of great stress. After a long time on the streets she finally meets help. But can she be sure that the help she gets will help her out or kill her? MR.?

Summary: Running Out of Time
Review: Running Out of Time was a fast paced and slightly suspenseful book. It had a great storyline in which the main character, Jessie, thinks she is living in the 1840's when it is actually 1996. It turns out that she is part of a mad man's experiment. It is up to Jessie to save her village from certain death and reveal the evil plot. I was amazed that such a short and fast paced book could be so thrilling and descriptive.

Review: Running Out of Time is a wonderful book. It's an adventure that features Jessie a 13 yr. old girl as she races to find a cure for diptheria which has struck her village. She lives in 1840 or so she was told. When she finds out it's 1996 and that she must find a way to cure the people she is shocked! You won't be able to put this book down. I really liked this book because it's full of action and you never know what will happen next. It's one quest after another on Jessie's long trip to find a cure for the only people she has ever known. You should read this awesome book!
