Rating: Summary: Great Book Review: I thought that this book was interesting and exciting! It makes you feel like you are in the book with the caracters. I think that you should read it to!
Rating: Summary: This book Rulz! Review: The first book in the Circle of Magic, the Magic in the Weaving, was a really good book. This book was quite humorous at different points. Every reader who enjoys fantasy books would really enjoy this, I mean, would I lie? This books, as well as all books by Tamora Pierce, deserves a 5 star.
Rating: Summary: Sandry's Book Great! Review: Sandry's Book, the first in Tamora Pierce's new series Circle of Magic, is definitely a new winner. This book really shows that even though people can be extremly different it does not mean that they can not get along. The book takes place on a world were magic is common, but only certain kinds. It is the story of four young people and their struggle with both friendship and magic. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a good fantasy read.
Rating: Summary: 1st Book Review: I think Sandry's book is really good. The way Tris starts to trust someone and Daja starts to loosen up is really cool. If you like magic and friendship, this is the book for you. READ IT!
Rating: Summary: four beginnings, but only one end....this time Review: I've read the entire series and I can tell you that all of the answers will be answered, eventually. If you or someone you loves the idea of magic and children being able to help when the adults can't you'll love this and the other books.
Rating: Summary: Sandry's Book Review: Sandry's Book was what started me into the Circle of Magic series. How could you not like it? It seems that when Tris won't tell of her backround and what happened before she ended up at Winding Circle, you are the only person to know of what she went through. I loved this book and would recommend it to anyone who loves Tamora Pierce, no matter the age. This book introduced me into all of Pierce's wonderful books. I haven't stopped reading her books and I can't wait for her to write more. The way she wrote this book to include all of Discipine's inhabitants is wonderful. You don't only get to read about Sandry but her many friends as well. You not only learn about Sandry but also Tris, Daja, and Briar. This book is a great way to start off your own Tamora Pierce collection!
Rating: Summary: A Fabulous Book Review: This is the story of four young misfits, that are all brought to the Winding Circle Temple. There, they find out the most important thing in theeir life: they have magic. At the cottage of Discipline, Briar, Sandry, Tris, and Daja are instructed in the use of their powers. But then, a natural disaster strikes, and the four are the only hope of Winding Circle. This is a book you CAN NOT put down. It's a must read adventure story for any avid (or not so avid) person. If you're going to read one book in your life, this is the one to pick up!
Rating: Summary: Tortall fanatics who refuse to read this YOUR MISSING IT ALL Review: First of all, this is an excellent, unique and fascinating series. The characters are so interesting and the world they live, colorful. Some of the reviews that I have read about this book are about obsessed Tortall fans whining about how they miss Tortall. If you miss Tortall that much then you shouldn't have read this book, because you will not find "a familiar face". This is a new series that deserves to be recognized just as much as the other quartets and if you read it thinking about how much you miss Tortall then your going to ruin the whole experience for yourself. This is such a good book and it's wonderful to see Tamora Pierce's writing talents expanded more. After reading every single of her books (and buying them) I know that I will support her writing no matter what she decides to try. Well only if she hooks up Briar and Sandry, (Just kidding).
Rating: Summary: Tamora Pierce writes the very best! Review: In this book, you are introduced to Sandry, who has magic with weaving and fabric, Briar, who has magic with plants, Tris, who has magic with weather, and Deja, who has magic with metal. Throughout the book, the mages-in training must overcome eachothers differances to save oneanother, and the new home they have found at Winding Circle. I made the mistake of reading the second book first, so I knew what happened, but the first was just as good anyway.
Rating: Summary: This is a fantasic book that everyone should read! Review: Sandrys Book has an excellant plot and exteremly interesting charecters. This book is a great begining to a wonderful quartet. Please read this book, you will regret it if you do not.
