Rating: Summary: Just keep reading Review: don't let the begenning bore you! The ending is a blast! I think its the start of a new circle frendship!
Rating: Summary: Simple Vocabulary, book was dead on confusing Review: This book was dead on confusing. The writer jumps back and forth from characters to narrate the story with first person, giving us the reader no idea who's speaking. Also, the "romance" (if you'd call it that) scenes were able enough for a 15 year old but the vocabulary was written for a little 9 year old. Weird, huh?
Rating: Summary: I was disappointed. I WANT TORTALL BACK!!!!!!!@!!! Review: Okay, I was really siked, since I LOVED the Immortals and the Song of the Lioness. However, imagine my disappointment when I found that there was NO Tortall in this book. I read it, however. I disliked it. I read the next one even, maybe the first one had been a fluke. Nope. The second one was no better. I have heard that there will be a Protector of the Small series with Tortall (Yea!!!) as the setting. I'm hoping that these will be better. I want to say I respect everyones opinion on this book, however.
Rating: Summary: Not Up To Pierces' Usual Standards Review: There was just something about this book that m ade me hate it so m uch as I do. M aybe its the boring characters, or the dull scenes, or the plain language. Either one of those, or ALL of them , m ay have contributed for my dislikes of this book.
Rating: Summary: An exelent Book for 11 year-olds like me! Review: I have read Tamora Peirce's other seires, but i think this is by far the best. I personally LOVE fantasy books, so this book appealed to my tastes. I recomend that you read this book and other books by Tamora Pierce.
Rating: Summary: The beginning of a whole new world of fascinating fantasy Review: Once again, Tamora Pierce has created another realm for her convincing characters that will captivate not only all of her fans, but readers new to fantasy as well.
Rating: Summary: I think this book is teriffic! Review: I think the Circle of Magic is really great. Although it is not as adventurous as the Lioness Quartet, it tackled eveyday problems, such as earthquakes and sickness. This book is a true tale of magic!
Rating: Summary: Great book! Next to Song 1 and 2, best yet... Review: I loved this book and would like people to stop griping about Tortall. And no matter what is said about Tris (true, it's harder to identify with her, but...) and though it is hard to identify the main characters, without Sandry nobody would have gotten to know each other. So QUIT WORRYING ABOUT TORTALL EVERYONE'S COMING BACK IN A NEW SERIES. I think this book had more of an age span (ages 9 to infinity) and that's not bad. I mean, I hate the words "young adult". I'm only 12 for crying out loud and I was enjoying Alanna before my 11th birthday (in other words I was 10). So get off Tortall and love this book for what it is! About Tris: She had the most to adjust to with this book and no matter what everyone says it is not not not about her! I mean who is the best one to start a series off with? Think about it! And the other books build on this one. Together, this is one of the best books by the world's greatest author yet!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: This book was good but a little disappointing after others. Review: I liked this book a lot but after reading the immortals and the Alanna series i was majorly disappointed! I really loved those other books and i really thought that this book could have been a lot better. But all in all it was a good book.
Rating: Summary: It was an excellent book. Couldn't put it down.Buy it today. Review: When I satrted on Tamora Pierce 's book I wasn't ecepting such an instance likeing. Her new series follows her other two series , The Lioness, and the Immortals. In this book Pierce goes for a connection of four unlikely friends and how the need each other. i reccommed this book for young adults and teens that enjoy fantasy.
