Summary: Sandry's book is great!!
Review: I'm a great fan of Tamora Pierce and I couldn't wait for Sandry's book to come out. When I finally read it, I could not put it down! This book was great, and I can't wait for the next book to come out. I've also heard that Tamora Pierce is writing another quartet, in lieu of The Immortals and the Song of the Lioness. I hope that those will be as good as Sandry's book!

Summary: Estatically emotional & adventurous
Review: When I read this book I was surprised to find that I enjoyed it more than I did her Alanna Series. I've read all of her books and greatly enjoy them. This book has a different ingrediant that makes it impossible to put down. I read it in about 2 and a half hours. I really liked how it didn't center down on one character but told you the thoughts of all of them. Even though this was a really good book I still miss Diane & Alanna. Keep writing.

Summary: GREAT BOOK!!!!!!!
Review: I've read all of Tamora Pierce's books, and I find the Circle of Magic Series to be the best! (in my opinion she just keeps getting better) My daughters enjoyed it, and this series I would reccommend to my adult friends without the warning that it feels like a "young adult" book as I did the Tortall books. Change can be good sometimes. : )

Summary: Disappointing
Review: After reading the GOOD books by Tamora Pierce, this one was a disappointment. It wasn't so much that Ms. Pierce moved from a different world (though I hope that this won't be the end of Tortall), but this book just didn't have the feeling of intamacy surrounding the characters as Ms. Pierce's Tortall series. I think it may have been because she was trying to shove in all these main characters with different backgrounds and powers, instead of focusing on one strong character. However, if this is a first time reading of Ms. Pierce's work, perhaps you will be more forgiving, having no comparison to her better novels.

Summary: I MISS TORTALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I want some familiar faces back! I miss Allana,(she rocks) Daine,(she does to) Numair, Jonathan, George, etc. This book was okay, but I'll say this again, I WANT MORE TORTALL BOOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: A GREAT book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I absolutely, positivly, LOVE this book! I like how it shows each of the character's talents, and how they learn to become mages. I've read it at least 1,000 times and love it each time! I think they're each likeable characters (except for maybe Tris, I don't like her) and sound like real people. The only thing I didn't like was how on the cover and side of the book they put a picture of water for Sandry. All the others make sence (the plant for Briar, lightning for Tris, and fire for Daja) but Sandry's craft doesn't have to do with water. But, it would be kind of weird to put a thread in place of it. When I first got the book and didn't know who the characters were, I thought the water was Tris, and was all confused! But of course, Tris gets the lightning (just like her personality). And is there something going on with Briar and Sandry? I read wolfbytes's review on the webpage for Daja's book and it said something about them being together, but I don't know. I think that'd be cool, because I always like Tamora's romance. And they'd be a cute couple. But, who knows with Tamora Pierce!

Summary: A REALLY GOOD BOOK
Review: When I was browsing Tamora Pierce's books at the library, I was suprised to find Sandry's Book on the shelf. But since I'm a Tamora Pierce fanatic I had to get it. And to my suprise, I loved it! All the characters are cool (except for maybe Tris, I don't like her much) and full of spunk. I really suggest this book, it's probably my favorite book-or one of my favorites-and is really enjoyable. I've read it about 1,000 times or more and can't wait until the last one (Briar's Book) comes out. About missing Tortall...I don't really. I mean, not everything happens in one country. And unless Tamora writes another book in Tortall, we'll just have to guess what happens to Daine, Alanna, and all the others.

Summary: It was okay, but...
Review: I liked this book okay, But I really wanted to know how Daine and Numair's life turned out. It was a charming book, but I agree, I miss Tortall.

Summary: This isn't Tortall, but.......
Review: It was great coming up with another series, I was beginning to miss her writing. I know all her books by heart and was impatiently waiting for her next one. I agree I miss Tortall and Alanna (she is the coolest heroine I know), but being tied down in one world is kind of boring for the author! There are other places in the world, and an author's imagination can't be tied down to one single thing! I would love it if Tamora Pierce ever went back to Tortall, but no matter what happens, she will always be a good writer and I will always love her books.

Summary: A magical adventure of friendship and understanding...
Review: Four children of very different backgrounds, noble, merchant, theif, and trader, are brought together to Winding Circle Temple by Niklaren GoldEye. There, in a cottage called Discipline with the help of Dedicate Rosethorn and Lark, the children get past their differences, become friends and learn to control their magical powers.

This book contains Tamora Pierce's distinctive touch of enchantment. Her writings almost always focus on underestimated or degraded characters who come to prove themselves as heroes. The four children begin as four unwanted castouts who become respected for their powers. Though the writing and the words are more childish and don't flow as well as her other series, Tamora Pierce's Circle of Life Series holds the same magic.
