Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Very entertaining.
Review: Franken sometimes stoops to fairly low-brow humor, but he has his facts straight and he's a very intelligent fellow, as well as a persuasive and cogent debator.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Not a very convincing arguement.
Review: Although disguised as a satire, the author tries to convince the reader that conservatism (exemplified by Rush Limbaugh) is a failed political platform. Unfortunately, like all liberals, he doesn't let facts get in the way of his argument. The book is somewhat vulgar, in spite of the fact that Al Franken is a rather funny fellow. This book did, however, reinforce my conservative beliefs.

Summary: The title explains it all !!
Review: This book fails to explain much as to what is actually wrong with Mr. Limbaugh's views. Instead the author hurls insults and employs petty name calling to attempt to discredit the radio talk show host. I have listened to the left exclaim that this type of behavior is the tools of the right, yet from the title forward, Mr. Franken proves that the liberals are the mean spirited hate mongers that need to be feared. What ever you do, do NOT buy this book.

Summary: Very funny
Review: I loved the humorous way that Franken exposed the hypocracy of the Conservative Right.

Summary: 'dis book is P-H-A-T PHAT!
Review: Finally someone got it right! Rush Limbaugh IS a big fat idiot! How could some people be so blind as to listen to this moron! Well, I guess I have to admit his show is worth a few laughs-mostly at him!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A Modern Classic
Review: Rush Limbaugh may not be as fat as he was when this book was written, but he's still as stupid. The number of reviews posted here by angry dittoheads in denial if proof of how close to the mark this book was and is.

Summary: Like a breath of fresh air
Review: What a wonderful read - hilarious and smart. If you don't think that the ultraconservatives of this world deserve to be skewered, scroll down and read the one-star reviews. If you love Newt and Rush and the rest, you certainly won't enjoy this book (although Rush is in fact a flat-out liar; I'd like to hear what he has to say about, for example, Franken's economic charts - about Reaganomics - that directly attack Rush's calculations. But of course Rush is strangely silent - as Franken proves, he's only able to preach to the converted is is never up for a healthy debate.) I digress - if you're sick to death of the Morals Nazis, then this book is not only funny - it's like an emotional release. I felt so GOOD after reading this. Perhaps there is hope for the democratic party yet... (Another note: this is a satire - it's intelligent and funny - and I think that many non-Democrats might get a kick out of it. You don't have to agree with Franken, but do give him a shot if you'd like an interesting, smart read.

Summary: Right On The Mark
Review: Al Franken is no newcomer to the political satire scene. His stints on SNL have sharpened his rapier wit and helped him become one of the premier political satirists of our time. If you like Rush Limbaugh then you probably won't like this book, but then again if you like Rush Limbaugh you've definitely got problems of your own. Franken's work shows the vast inconsistencies in conservative literature, pointing out the failure of Reganomics, as just one small example. This book had me laughing out loud the whole way through.

Summary: No effect on Rush!
Review: I heard Rush talking about this book on his masterpiece show awhile back, but never got around to reading it. Unfortunately I did, and to my surprise, it really didn't say anything worth talking about. I also noticed that the book was very vulgar and demoralizing. I would not recommend this to anyone who has morals and values.

Summary: More fun than staring at a brick wall!
Review: OK, so maybe staring at a brick wall is more fun than reading this catastrophe on paper. If Al hadn't tacked "fat" on the title of his book, it probably would have only sold half of the current sales are. Newsflash to Al: you aren't exactly a handsome charmer either. No offense Al, really! ;)
