Rating: Summary: For the sake of your country: don't believe Al Franken! Review: Hopefully this book's ideas will eventually be a lost cause, or otherwise we will have ourselves a political crisis. OK, so maybe Al is right saying that Rush is fat. So what? What difference is that going to make in your book besides give a few crude people a laugh? The fact is Al, that your book doesn't do diddly squat to hurt the Republican ideology. So what if you made up a couple funny skits such as "Operation Chickenhawk"? That doesn't argue anything of Rush's. So what if he is divorced? Millions of people are divorced, so does that mean that you are going to call them f****** idiots like you called Rush in your book? So as a conclusion I would just like to say that your book doesn't really show anything, besides what little matureness you have.
Rating: Summary: Don't let Al fool you! Review: Sorry Al, but you just don't have the intelligent or humor of Rush. You really didn't do much to prove Rush wrong either, since you only looked at a fraction of his ideas. Plus half the book was just attacking his weight, which goes to show that liberals have no morals or values. Go back to writing for Saturday Night Live.
Rating: Summary: RIGHT WING WILL SMASH! Review: Al Franken is a pathetic example of the inherent weakness of scum-sucking liberal scum. Rush Limbaugh will continue to smash the weak with his zinging attacks on Cadillac driving welfare moms. Don't worry, people. We'll all be goose stepping in no time. You're all a bunch of commies, anyway, like my "friend" Al "The Commie Welfare Mom" Franken.
Rating: Summary: Funny as hell Review: As much fun as it is to make fun of the innaccuracies that spew out of the mouth of Rush, the big fat idiot every few seconds (and Franken does this), it's even more fun to make fun of the fact that Rush IS a big fat idiot, which is probably why this book was such a big seller. It doesn't matter that most of the cracks are about the personal appearance of the big fat idiot, because no matter what they're about, Rush is a deserving target. This book is funny as hell.
Rating: Summary: Mildly entertaining. Review: Several chapters in this book had me rolling with laughter. Several untruths and inconsistencies of Limbaugh and some of the Republican right are successfully highlighted. However, the book feels unfinished. Chapters are disjointed, as though a long time elapsed between writing adjacent chapters or as though more than one author were involved. Certainly, this book does not deliver a knockout blow, or anything close, to its targets and their campaign of misinformation."Rush Limbaugh Is a Big Fat Idiot : And Other Observations" is a relaxing read that will prove generally humerous for Democrats, but if you are an intelligent, rabid liberal or an intelligent, rabid conservative, there is nothing new here for you.
Rating: Summary: Don't let the lard one run your life Review: This book is funny and smart. It shows just what is wrong with the right. Anyone who cares about polatics and truths should read it.
Rating: Summary: Hillarious and Clever Review: A highly enternaing book by Franken. He brings to light the incredible hypocrisy of the conservatives and at the same time keeps it very funny throughout. It's amazing that reviewers are trying to compare this work to Limb.'s ideology. It's about humor, people, something you clearly lack. Get a life! It's amazing how everything Rush says is lies or twisted truth at best. It's about time someone exposed Limbaugh for what he really is, and no one could have done it better or funnier than Franken. Kudos to him for a brilliant effort.
Rating: Summary: Franken attacks Rush for his factual errors and exaggeration Review: This book is one of the few texts that attacks the right in a humorous and unrestrained manner. Only right wing fanatics won't appreciate it.
Rating: Summary: Childish Franken Strikes again Review: Al Franken's book, "Rush Limbaugh is a big fat idiot", tells before even being opened, exactly what to expect. The sometimes admired, often ignored commentator spews forth from his nonsensical head a never ending and childish mess of name calling and whining, held by some non-thinkers as "fact" and still more as "truth". It is entertaining, make no qualms, but in a "worlds scariest police cashes" kind of way. You know who's wrong, but you can't help but route for him a little.
Rating: Summary: THE GREATEST ENTERTAINMENT OF ALL MEDIA! Review: This book is not only the best book I've ever read, but the most entertaining thing of any type of media that I ever enjoyed. The biting truth of Franken's cuts at the Republican party is very satisfying to read.
