Review: This is the first book I didn't want to end! A week later I'm still thinking about Chris and Emily and I haven't begun another book because of it! The characters were so well developed. You feel their pain and their joy. I highly recommend it and have suggested it to many of my friends who have had similar opinions.

Review: I was absolutely captivated. Between the well-developed characters and excellent writing I truly felt their pain. I finished it yesterday afternoon & I am still thinking about it today. I wouldn't let my daughter leave the house yesterday, I just wanted her to be with me. It's a rare book that can affect you so deeply on so many levels. I related to the characters as both a mother and a daughter. I want everyone I know to read this.

Review: A love story? A family drama? A courtroom drama? Sometimes three yeses don't add up to a positive. And I think that's the case with The Pact. The writing is decent and the story easily followable, which isn't necessarily a compliment. I felt a little manipulated by the now and then format of storytelling and surprised in a let down sort of way by the ending. Overall, not a bad summer read with some interesting family dynamics and a plot set-up that couldn't have failed too badly. Mostly I wonder what I was supposed to feel from a book that tried to do too much with a pretty simple premise.

Review: Great read! The book left me so sad though. I could totally connect with Emily at times. This book truly caused some heartache but it was accepted heartache on my part. I would definitely suggest this book to anyone in search of a terrific read.Can't wait for the movie to come out.

Summary: Amazing and twisted
Review: It took me at least 50 pages to sink my teeth into this book, but then I couldn't put it down. The story travels between the past and the present, both moving forward until the ending past equal the original present. I found myself counting the pages until I could find out a little more of the characters pasts and then counting the pages so I could know what fate would be brought to them. Excellent buy, I could not be more happy with my first purchase from Amazon.com.

Review: This was the best book I have read in a long time. The characters are all very lifelike and one could believe such a scenario could easily happen today. I was both excited to find out the truth at the end of the book, but at the same time saddened that my journey was over. A definite must read.

Review: I Started reading this book thinking it would be a good one to read before bed. When i started the book I ended up staying up that night till 3am. Its one of those books that you Just can not put down, any cahance you get just to read another page you take. This book to me was turly Amazing, it was the kind of book that has a little bit of everything from friendship, love, trust, murrder, loss, death... I could go on there are so many topics you could have for this book. If you read any thing soon make it this, you wont want to put it down.

Review: I finished this book in about 24 hours. When I wasn't able to read it, I was thinking about how much I wanted to finish it. The characters are so real, the emotions so raw... I felt a connection to each of the characters on some level. This was so well written that I found myself crying several times throughout the book. Because each of the characters is so well developed, I think this is a book anyone could enjoy; there is at least one character that everyone can relate to. This novel is a true page turner, and it definitely stays with you. I am very excited about seeing this in movie format.
