Summary: A Brave and Powerful Testimony
Review: Only handful of times have I read a book that has made a profound difference in my life--Let's Roll by Lisa Beamer is one of those books. I started it at 10:30 in the evening and didn't put it down until 3 a.m.! Usually I'm out cold after two pages!

In the pages of the book, Lisa shares her faith and life so intimately and fully that you can't help but identify with her and her family and what they've endured. It's a remarkable testimonial of a real and practical faith in the strength, power, comfort, and ultimately the salvation of Jesus Christ! I think if you're a non-believer this book may make you one, and if you are a believer it can strength your faith immensely.

Lisa and those involved in publishing the book have taken a situation so horribly evil and bereft of God and used it as a way to honor Him and display His grace! That's a miracle! I felt personally honored that Lisa and her family would shared their tragedy, their faith, and their example with the rest of us!

To stay I strongly recommend this book would be an understatement. Please borrow or buy a copy and read it--even if you think you just don't have the time! It's a quick read, and it will change you!!!

Summary: Extraordinary courage exhibited by both Lisa and Todd Beamer
Review: The American people owe a huge debt of gratitude to Todd Beamer and the other passengers of flight 93. Lisa Beamer's book lets us get to know about Todd Beamer's life before September 11. It also offers insight on how Lisa Beamer has managed to go on with her life after that horrible day. She pays tribute to the other passengers and crew on board flight 93.
Both Todd and Lisa Beamer have shown extraordinary courage under extraordinary circumstances, and Lisa Beamer continues to provide a fine example of faith and dignity.

Summary: Amazing Account of Real Faith in the Face of Tragedy
Review: I just finished Lisa's book late last night and have only had it for a few days. I couldn't put it down. The way that she has trusted in God for every aspect of her life and the testimony that Todd had through his life and death have been such an encouragement to me. If you do not know where you would be today if you had died on September 11th, this book clearly explains how you can have peace about putting your faith and trust in the Lord. God loves you very much and Lisa explains the plan of salvation and how being a born-again Christian has totally and radically changed her life. It is her source of hope and gives her a reason to continue on. Praise God for her (and Todd's) amazing testimony!

Summary: A story of courage and strength
Review: Lisa Beamers book moved me to tears. I could not put it down once picked up. It just amazes me how she goes on and how her faith has kept her strong. That is what this book is all about. Lisa describes very well what type of person her husband was. She talks about their lives together good and bad. One part that moved me to tears is when the holidays came and when she had her daughter. Two times that were going to be especially difficult.

Summary: They were heroes, perhaps more so than I first thought
Review: Lisa Beamer's husband and some of the other passengers were heroes. A part of one of the engines from the plane was found about one mile from the crash site, and smaller fragments were found several miles away (Information from UK Channel 4 documentary, shown at 11.05 pm (UK time)on September 3rd 2002). There is evidence (same Channel 4 documentary) that one or more passengers, had the expertise to fly the plane, and in fact what most likely happened, was that they overpowered the hijackers, and then proceeded to start flying the plane themselves (to safety). That is a real heroes story. However, Unfortunately the US Air Force did not know this at the time, and shot the plane down (this was not their fault, or the fault of the US Government (really) they thought they were doing the right thing, by protecting the Capital and the people too. They only had limited time in which to act). Unfortunately, they probably learned the truth when they heard the black box flight recorder data. All this information came from the above documentary, which certainly raises some interesting questions. If true Mrs Beamer's husband was a hero (more so than I could have imagined) and so were the other passengers and flight crew (don't forget them) that day, it's just a shame that they never got the chance to land the plane safely. No one is to blame here, it's just a tragic story. I hope you sell more copies of your book Mrs Beamer. Good luck. One other point that came from the documentary (mentioned above, which was mainly about the Meyssan conspiracy, and why it was wrong), please stay clear of the Meyssan book, it is not accurate, and the conspiracy theories he puts forward (about the attack on the Pentagon)are easily disproved.

Summary: A Picture of Faith
Review: My first introduction to Let's Roll was through World Magazine (August 17, 2002). The article was from a portion of her book. The article deeply stuck me in such a way that I passed it on to others and they were touched by it as well. I purchased the book and have found it to be a source of great encouragement. Lisa is one of the few people that have truly focused on God through all of this. This book reveals her genuine faith because the object of her faith is in the one and only God and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Summary: Inspiring Literature at Its Best!
Review: God bless you, Lisa! Thank you so much for sharing your inspirational story with us. The book was so intriguing and well written that I could not put it down. Many times it brought tears to my eyes and a lump in my throat. If anyone cares to learn more about a real hero - as well as a widow of exemplary faith - this book is MUST reading. How appropriate now as we approach the anniversary of the September 11 tragedy. Thanks to Lisa I can view it with a different perspective.

Summary: kw
Review: OR, and this is "just a thought"! - maybe she is NOT looking or wealth and celebrity, but trying to find something to make her feel closer to her husband, and to give her some type of peace, if possible, despite his horrible murder. and yes, los angeles (see "review" below) you go ahead and move on with your little life - enough grief? you were as far away from the WTC on that day as you can be, so you can sweep it under the rug, but others of us were not. others of us in downtown Manhattan and elsewhere saw our brothers and sisters, husbands and wives, friends and other relatives die that day. we can not, and will not forget.

Summary: Inspiring, awesome journey of faith
Review: First, the reviewer who rated this one star obviously didn't read the book. Whatever you may think of Lisa Beamer and her media appearances, this is a woman of tremendous substance. The book reads easily and is difficult to put down. I dog-eared pages I want to re-read and highlighted numerous passages and profound statements throughout it. Lisa Beamer's strong, unshakable faith is balanced by truly human feelings of weakness, sadness and loneliness. We all experience loss in our lives. Through this book, Lisa Beamer encourages us to "Look up" and remember that God's plan for our lives will unfold in HIS way and time, not ours. I loved this book and highly recommend it! It's a real blessing to read such a strong witness of faith in God during excruciatingly painful times in our lives!

Summary: Intriguing and Inspring! A "beam" of light in a dark world!
Review: I am baffled by the negative reviewers who claim that this book is an effort for Lisa Beamer to bring more attention to herself. Nothing could be farther from the truth!

Lisa Beamer has shared her story and used the horrific circumstances in her life to help change the lives of others. She has not ever perpetuated media attention for self-righteous reasons, but to further the cause of the Todd Beamer Foundation and to share with millions of people the TRUTH, which has given her strength, character, grace and above all: HOPE.

I wanted to read this book because I was initially intrigued by Lisa's grace and strength. As someone who was fortunate enough to not have experienced a personal loss on September 11, I wondered how as a wife and a mother, Lisa Beamer found the courage and strength to survive. The book, which is an autobiographical of both her and Todd's life, is truly an inspring story that is a 'beam' of light in a dark world.

While Lisa and Todd were self-described 'ordinary' people, their strenght, character, and faith are truly extraordinary. I recommend this book to EVERYONE! :)
