Rating: Summary: Excellent Read Review: This man will blow the lid off what you think you know and why you think you know it. He speaks very directly and to the point with absolutely no beating around the bush. He destroys the liberal philosophy while holding nothing back from republicans either. He is unlike any other talk radio host or tv host to date. His direct speaking may be too much for some people but it is the naked truth. His analysis is superb and being that he has a Ph.D in Nutrition and has written 18 other books is extremely knowledgable. I listen to his radio show and it's like a history lesson along with cutting edge talk. This book is a must read for liberals and conservatives alike.
Rating: Summary: Definitely savage! Review: What is so sad about the Right Wingers is that their heroes are intellectually bereft sensationalists with bad goatees who gain attention by being loud and obnoxious. You know the type. You'll be debating them about the state of government, they'll become easily offended by truth and then cite something ridiculous like, "You know, Clinton was getting that .... job in the White House, enough's said."Okay, in the Savage nation we get to revel in the lowest common denominator, occupied by such intellectual giants as Buchanan, O'Reilley and Robertson. Jesus...I'll take the left wing any day.
Rating: Summary: Pretty sad... Review: We've heard this kind of reactionary ax grinding before. In this case, it's designed to make the author money by appealing to those who are easily influenced by little more than divisive rhetoric. Save your money for something worthwhile.
Rating: Summary: Michael is the Patroit Review: I have listened to Michael on the radio many times and am a huge fan. I thought the book would just rehash the show. I was wrong. It is exciting. The book is extremely well written. It is much more readable than any of the other conservative writers I have enjoyed. It makes you want to keep reading.
Rating: Summary: A foolish work by a foolish racist Review: In any other western nation Michael Savage would be branded a racist and his wretched radio show banned. His radio show would not last one hour in The Netherlands or The United Kingdom for that matter. He is an opportunist and clearly filled with hate. A wicked vile man intent on achieving fame no matter what the consequences to his fellow countryman. Furthermore Micheal Savage is incapable of logical thought, is a buffoon and a fool, a manipulator of the first order and a danger to America. I certainly would not recommend this book to anyone.
Rating: Summary: Savage Rules Review: Mike Savage forgets about political correctness and all the other chains of our touchy feely society and tells it like it is. Any liberal or conservative should read this book. You may be enlightened!
Rating: Summary: Outguns the outlaws of political correctness Review: Savage by name, savage by nature - at least when it comes to giving any quarter to the smog of political correctness now suffocating much of the western world. Telling it like it is, being forthright, sticking to your guns to defend traditional values, are often activities sneered at by the left-wing intelligentsia - so long as their own prattlings are safely recorded for posterity. You may not agree with absolutely everything Michael Savage says, but a lot of it makes good sense. If he took on champion of the Left, Michael Moore (Stupid White Men etc) in a no-holds barred, bare-knuckle intellectual TV brawl, and people were asked to vote on the outcome over a series of issues, I believe Savage would probably win.
Rating: Summary: Finally, someone who "tells it like it is" Review: I learned a lot from this book, mainly why anti-americanism is on the rise. I wouldn't take anything written by a guy who "dismisses child victims of gunfire as 'ghetto slime,' refers to non-white countries as 'turd world nations,' calls homosexuality 'perversion' and asserting that Latinos 'breed like rabbits.'" too seriously (fair.org). If you enjoy this, I recommend "Mein Kampf". WHITE POWER!
Rating: Summary: Let the truth be known..... Review: Mr. Savage says it's time we take our country back. Start small by putting your fist in some cowering liberal's eye and your foot in an anti-war protester's teeth. It may not be "politically correct", but it'll sure feel good! Savage Nation indeed!
Rating: Summary: If you're not here, you're nowhere Review: I have to admit I was a little doubtful coming into this one. I thoroughly enjoy Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter and was expecting something along those lines. From page 1 of The Savage Nation, I had a smile on my face that would not go away - mixed in with intermittent laughter and "did he just say that?" remarks. Savage shocks the liberal and politically correct reader into a veritable apoplexy with his unabashedness, candor, and frankness. This was a long time coming, Mike. I can't wait for your next work. Read this book TODAY!. It will not disappoint. "The next time you're in your backyard grilling hot dogs, don't be surprised if your Korean neighbor is actually grilling his dog."
