Rating: Summary: The Savage Nation Review: This is truly a great book! The only thing that would have made it better is if it was longer! Michael Savage is one of the greatest Patriots of all times! If you are a Good American and love this great country, this book is a must read! Michael is inspired and so is his book!
Rating: Summary: Unfortunately, nothing but agro-babble Review: Sadly, Michael Savage spent way too much time writing an entire book full of his own unfounded, unsubstantiated and mindless opinions. Even more unfortunately, his psychopathic babble contributes to a "culture" of intolerance, selfishness and blatantly unapologetic self-interest in America. I honestly hope that Savage himself never has to endure having the lens of his own hate-speak turned against him, as he has used it on "Others," as it could be a really ugly situation for him. Savage reveals his own pathology time and again in this book; hate only succeeds in creating more hate, contributing to the "disorder of the soul" (S. Pope Duarte) that is so prevalent among his kind. While the book might have potentially been a controversial and thought-provoking read, if Savage had any actual or accurate basis upon which to build his arguments, he has failed American conservatives and liberals alike--and has failed American political discourse--by writing what, in essence, sounds like a very long and pitiful journal entry of personal ills.
Rating: Summary: It is easy to tell if you would like this book Review: I will make this simple. If you love our country and feel that the United States is an honorable nation, you will like this book. If you feel that the United States is a corrupt oppressor, you will hate this book. If you believe that it is our duty to make contributions and take ownership of our country, you will like this book. If you feel that the system "owes you", you will hate this book. If you feel proud to have the blessings bestowed on us, you will like this book. If you feel guilty about the riches of America, you will hate this book. If you feel empowered as a human American citizen, you will like this book. If you feel powerless and oppressed, you will hate this book. If you feel that the citizens and government of the United States are, overall, good people, you will like this book. If you feel that the people and government of the United States are not as honorable as those in other countries, you will hate this book. If you are proud of who you are and where you came from, regardless of where that may be, you will like this book. If you are ashamed of who you are and where you came from, you will hate this book.
Rating: Summary: I Agree..I'm Just Bored Review: Loved everything Mr. Savage said, but I found it a boring read. He is better listened to, rather than read...
Rating: Summary: Great Read Review: It's not politically correct. The US flag is fundamentally different from a Barney statue. This country owes you nothing. If you contribute to society.. Welcome to America. If you beleive in the above.. good read. This book is for you.
Rating: Summary: Hmmm... Review: Interesting moments, especially since he's new to me. (Never heard the radio show.) But at times, I wasn't sure if I was laughing AT him or WITH him. He sure likes to point a finger of blame, and I can't say he's always wrong. For better and funnier social commentary, though, try "No One's Even Bleeding" or "Delano".
Rating: Summary: Suggested Title: "Insulting Everyone & Everything" Review: This book contains the most important reasons why even Conservatives from other parts of the world turn their back on America while shrugging their heads. Free speech does not mean insulting everyone and everything that does bear the "Liberal" stamp...No wonder that the world's perceptions of the U.S. is declining rapidly...
Rating: Summary: Who should read this? Liberals. Why . . . . ? Review: Michael Savage - (A New Yorker who's not a left winger? How can that be?) tells it like it really is.. not only here but also on his daily radio show. He's loud mouthed, rude, and often obnoxious, but he makes his points with facts. Who should read this? Liberals - And particularly Hollywood liberals - (if they can read). Why? Because Conservatives already know what he's saying. Liberals need to read it because they don't have any perspective on what's going wrong with America. And besides, Michael uses small words so they'll have no problem understanding what he's saying.
Rating: Summary: Save yourself. Don't try to read this book Review: This man self described as a "truth-in mouth" syndrome victim must be a victim of the "never-used brain" syndrome.Be aware, this is a very contagious disease. You can get infected through the radio !
Rating: Summary: hey this guy sounds french,,, i mean "freedom" Review: Somebody told me that the name Savage comes from the French Savage, pronounced "Sauv-Auje", not "savage" like "man, he eats like a primitive sav-idge". So where does this man with the French ("freedom") sounding name get off telling us Americans about liberals and conservatives? If his lineage is Freedom, and especially if he came here from the country of Freedom, then we don't need the likes of him spewing his Freedom jue 'de 'cest 'quis" or whatever around here. No thank you Mr. Sauve-Auje! And your pro-American bibble-di-babble isn't fooling anyone. So just stuff some freedom fries in your mouth, apply some "ju dei que" or whatever to your "cest le moi" and let us Americans get on with taking care of business.
