Summary: If you like the radio show, you will like the book
Review: Savage's writing style is almost identical to his radio style. If you enjoy his show you will like the book. Overall, I liked it. His style is entertaining...I actually laughed out loud a few times, which is unsual when reading political books. He is very conservative and makes some great arguments. On the downside, he does tend to repeat himself and he is somewhat critical of the Republican Party.

Summary: exceptional - this book will open your eyes.
Review: Written in a style that is simple yet to the point, The Savage Nation elloquently illustrates numerous examples of how the liberals have infiltrated the nations culture to a point where if something isn't done soon, America might develop into a harsh Orwellian dictatorship. This book is an excellent read for ANYONE and I highly reccomend it. Be wary of the reviewers here who bash this book, it's in their best interest that you dont read it. The Savage Nation contains real life, undeniable examples of how the liberals are destroying America. If you are content with being a sheep, find another book. Otherwise pick up a copy and stand up for the principals this country was founded on.

Summary: Hey Mike, you can do better
Review: The content of course is a product of the Savage mind thus thought provoking and insightful. The editor, however, should be fired. This was like a revisit to 'Frog and Toad' in choppy 8 word sentences and moved like a horse carriage dragging a steel ball and chain. How can a reader take someone seriously who has re-named every person or situation with some sophomoric character dig? As an avid listener and general admirer of Michael Savage my recommendation is for him to stick to radio, or have me write his next book!

Summary: Classic Michael Savage
Review: Michael Savage pounds on the themes of "borders, language and culture" on his syndicated talk show and those themes carry forward to this book. His analysis and comments are right on the money, but I was a little disappointed in his writing style. If you haven't heard his talk show, the book can be a little hard to follow in places. I'd recommend to you that this book should be required reading for your teenager to counterbalance the ultra-liberal bias kids get from the government-media complex and the public schools - aka, government training programs. Then, the children will at least have a basis to form a reasonable opinion about the topics Savage discusses. You will either strongly agree or disagree with Dr. Michael's assertions in the book, but if this doesn't spark a reaction, you are probably brain dead.

Summary: Puts Liberals in their place - Go Gettem' Savage!!!!
Review: Savage ties together various points to produce this composite which thoroughly explains why America is the best country in the world. Liberals are simply unable to answer questions that destroy their intellectually bankrupt arguments that buckle under the slightest scrutiny. He explains why Liberals believe the following seven lies : 1) America is rich only because it has stolen money from other countries. Africa would be rich if America had not stolen from Africa. Even the wealth created in the last 10 years from software development was the result of exploiting the Amazon jungles and the Congo.
2) Blacks in the US deserve reparations, even from people who's ancestors came to the US much later than the Civil War. Even Asian American taxpayers who arrived in the 1970s must pay reparations to Blacks who would otherwise be wealthy in Africa had they not been taken from there. Blacks are continually discriminated against by whites to this day at every possible opportunity. The fact that black immigrants from Dominica and Jamaica are doing much better than African Americans means that they are selectively not subjected to racism, even though their skin is even darker. They should pay reparations too.
3) The SAT is racially biased. The fact that Korean, Chinese, and Indian students do better than whites still means that it is biased against blacks and no one else. The Math section is particularly rigged against blacks.
4) All rich people are rich because they had rich parents. If someone has poor parents, they have no chance. Communism, which fairly redistributes the fixed amount of dollars in the US, is the only fair solution. Even the immigrants who became rich after coming here have exploited others.
5) Bush's tax cut only favors the rich. The person making $300,000 was paying $100,000 in taxes, and now will only pay $80,000, getting a refund of $20,000! The person making only $20,000 was paying $2000 in taxes, and now will still pay $1500, getting a refund of only $500. It is unfair that the rich person gets a refund that is 40 times larger than the poor person! They should get a refund of the same size! The fact that the rich person is STILL paying $80,000 while the poor person is
only paying $1500, or less than 2% as much, is irrelevent. The rich are evil, and we have to take it away. Hard work never gets anyone anywhere in America, but smoking pot and having body piercings and tatoos do.
6) We have NO right to attack the Taliban, even though they don't allow girls to go to school and force women to wear a burkha. Women in the US, however, are still held back by the glass ceiling.
7) All the world's cultures are equal. The fact that immigrants from every part of the globe want to leave their countries and come to the US is not a valid point. I do not need to visit Africa, China, Brazil, or Iraq to know that their cultures are better than America. It is okay for China to massacre its own students at Tianamen, and conduct genocide against Tibetans and Uighurs, but it is wrong for the US to attack the Taliban while providing food for the Afghan people. America was also wrong to attack Germany in WWII to save the Jews. Whenever America has a war, it is wrong. If you are a conservative who is angered by liberals who put forth these arguments, you will find indestructable firepower for your next argument in this book. Few books provide so comprehensive an arsenal to demolish the liberal shibboleths as this one. You will also know when you have WON when liberals say 'you are dumb' or 'you don't know' without putting forth an
intelligent sentence. If you are a liberal who thinks the above are true, read this book if you actually believe in free speech (liberals usually believe in free speech when it consists of their own liberal intellectual incest.). Prove that you are not a hypocrite and read this book. Read this book before your next debate against some liberal pseudo-intellectual.

Review: Michael savage might have been a wiener at one time, but he's changed his name, because a wiener nation ........ well savage just sounds better. Regarless of your opinion, read his book. liberals will be forced to re-evaluate their thinking. conservatives will be forced to re-evaluate their thinking...let's all just try to think..........

Review: This was a gift for my husband who liked it a lot though he said he doesn't agree with Michael Savage on some things. We both listen to his radio show daily and the book is said to be just like the way he does his radio show. Looking forward to seeing him on MSNBC.

Summary: Great man, great book!
Review: It's fascinating to read reviews from individuals who have never read this book. They clearly and dishonestly have written reviews solely to trash Michael Savage because they disagree with what they perceive to be his political viewpoints. As Savage himself notes repeatedly on his radio show, dishonesty is one of the main tools of his opponents and that dishonesty extends even to writing "reviews" on Amazon.[com]. Savage is not anti-immigrant. He is against immigrants who come to America to steal from America, against those who refuse to speak English and those who expect Americans to respect their imported culture while they reject American culture. I suggest that honest and intelligent and individuals who think they dislike Michael Savage should buy this book and actually read it. If they truly are intelligent and honest, they will love it.

Summary: ARE WE "DIVERSIFIED" YET?
Review: There are a few brave souls out there who are willing to write the truth and Mike Savage is one. Perhaps another government study is in order to determine why truth and common sense send liberals into such mindless hysterics. Savage is correct in calling for closed borders. And yes, it would be great to usher all the fringe factions i.e. the homosexual "rights" groups, drug legalization nuts, reparations people, the busy-body ACLU and anti-sovereignty one-worlders, liberal columnist Molly Ivins, and the one-nation-100-languages crowd into one area (say, Antarctica) and let them duke it out. Alas, this is only a pipe dream much like border control. That some illegals are hard working is not germaine to this debate. And the "we are a nation of immigrants" argument has been done to death by the left. It is irrelevant that my great-grandparents were immigrants over 100 years ago. We are living in 2003, not 1875, and we have vastly different problems today. Our population is about 300 million with millions pouring across the borders annually. Illegals are overwhelming our schools, welfare, and medical systems. That is fact. At least 10% of illegals are convicted criminals and a high illegitimacy rate (50%+) prevails in their communities. They receive state of the art medical care, SSI, and welfare for illegitimate kids and, if denied, a liberal lawyer will sue YOU until the freebies are forthcoming. It's easy for northeastern liberals to spout platitudes while the citizens of Texas, New Mexico, California, and Arizona have to live with this problem every day. Democrats started this ball rolling years ago to pander for votes and power. Republicans have now followed suit - before 9/11 President Bush was pushing for yet another amnesty for 11 MILLION illegal Mexican nationals! Logically, our war on terrorism should begin with secure borders but the subject is anathema in D.C. We have allowed politically correct, self serving politicians to become entrenched in our government. They seem concerned primarily with outmaneuvering each other and keeping the well-paying jobs, nice perks, and fat pensions only dreamed of by average Americans. Since self-preservation is paramount, neither party will tackle the volatile subject of immigration reform. This book might have done some good twenty years ago. I fear it is too late to stem the tide.
