Summary: Gripping, Brutally honest commentary on American culture
Review: Michal Savage delivers the harsh truths about our country, it's leaders, and our culture. In his radio show he rails against uncontrolled immigration and illigal immigration which are breaking down our health care system and our culture. He describes how multi-culturalism is really a tool to destroy the rich american culture by dividing those in our nation by thier skin color, rather than including all *Americans* in the *American Culture*. He is often acused of hating immigrants. But, as the son of an immigrant who worked hard to become part of the American nation he has a perspective on what Immigration should be.....people coming to this country to *contribute* to our nation and make a good life for themselves and thier family, and to *intigrate* into American culture rather than divide themselves into multi-cultural sub-groups which fight against one another. He is also acused of racism, but many callers to his show who happen to have black skin attest, he's right on in his criticisms of modern "black pop culture" which really does nothing to help black people in america become productive, and instead tries to devide people based on race and dumb down expectations with ebonics, pass kids in school who can't read, and encourage criminal behaviour and single-parent homes. He also speaks on how ADD and ADHD are often used as an excuse to put active boys on ritilan and other mind-controll drugs to turn them into passive, easily controlled boys who will allow themselves to be walked on, and be too appethetic to become all they can be in life, and how this fits in with the Liberal idea that people should be controlled. While I don't agree with him 100% of the time, I belive his message is valuable, and at this time in our country is the hard-hitting honesty which is needed as a wake up call to Americans to stand firm, have a moral base, raise thier children right, and to be productive.

Summary: What a great book!
Review: Borrowed a book from a friend of mine (who is pretty liberal, by the way) and could not put it down. I am proud to be a republican in one of the most liberal cities on the planet. I have the pleasure of listening to Dr. Savage every night on KSFO. I don't agree blindly with everything he says, but he SPEAKS THE TRUTH AND MAKES SENSE. Everyone should read the book. Don't worry, no one will tell your liberal friends you read it. In fact, they are probably reading it, too. It's ranked in the top 10 for a reason.

Summary: Heard some of this liberal garbage since I was a kid
Review: Savage has it down clearly on religion. Always heard Pius XII controlled WWII and did nothing to help the six million Jewish martyrs. But Savage got me to do some research. Pius XII had a few hundred guys in pantaloon uniforms armed with lances compared to millions upon millions of heavily armed, highly trained soldiers across Europe. Hitler had spies in every large church and if the preaching went against the Reich, the Jewish martyrs-to-be got even worse treatment. Does anyone really think Hitler would have listened to reasoned compassion if such an encyclical had been issued by Pius XII and then widely publicized? Still, quietly and behind the scenes, Pius XII orchestrated saving 800,000 Jews from the camps. Savage has the forging hammer squarely on the iron as he describes the savage attack by the left on Christianity -- if the leftist liberals could fell the Catholic church, the rest of the denominations would fall like dominos. It is just one of many steps in the leftist goal of eliminating all Judeo-Christian moral teaching.

Review: ...people actually believe this [foolish] stuff? god, i had no idea how bigoted most americans really are. until now. and to think, msnbc actually hired this guy. the byline of this book should be "Why I hate everyone who isn't a white, heteosexual, physically fit, rich, college-educated (even though it's questionable he actually received an education) male."

Summary: The Savage Nation
Review: Michael Savage has hit the nail on the head. Thank God for a man that calls it like it is. I am proud to be an American. I am and American period...this is where I was born an that makes me an American...NOT **** American just a proud American. Michael does not spin or double talk in his book. Black is black and White is white. If you are here in this country illegally GO Home. If you want to come to this country go through the proper procedures and wait it out. Borders, Language and Culture. Michael spells it out like it is. Seal off the borders to illegals. If you are unwilling to learn our language don't come here. If you do not want to fit in to our culture don't come here. Everybody should WANT to read this book. My wife come to this country 26 years ago. She had back ground checks, physical exams, etc. She went to school getting her GED, learned our language, went to work, become a citizen within three years. She did it the correct way like all legals have. As Michael points out in his book if you are unwilling to come to this country legally WE do not want you. This is just one point of the book. There is much more...buy it. Nuff said.

Summary: Slander and slogans for simple minds
Review: A quick scan of this putrid volume is all one needs to get a clear idea of Savage's vitriol against women, hispanics, blacks, civil libertarians, and liberalism in general - all of it with only the most flimsy, if any, support. For example, he claims that the theory of global warming has been dismissed in the scientific community, and then he proceeds to confuse the hole in the ozone layer with global warming. THE TRUTH, for those who are not too lazy to look for it, is that scientists are finding more evidence to show that the planet is getting hotter, and that our use of fossil fuels is a major cause. As for the ozone layer, remember that liberal environmentalists are the ones who forced big business to stop using chloroflourocarbons, which were destroying the ozone. I'd like to know how Savage feels about seat belts in cars. After all, the big car makers resisted installing them, but eventually the pressure from activists like Ralph Nader forced the government to require them. Thank a liberal if you have survived a car crash!
The common trend in right-wing hatemongers like Savage and Limbaugh is that they choose to pick on the poor, the outcast and weak, and anyone who defends them. Even worse, their arguments are designed to pit one group of largely uneducated, working-class people against another. Put this man on the intellectual junk heap, and leave him there.

Review: This extended screed is so filled with venom that the important points get lost in the vitriol. Philosophical and political conservatives are poorly served by this rant.
