that just about sums it up. i've been a sylvia browne reader for quite sometime, and have recently been introduced to john edward.....
being a catholic myself, i was brought up to believe in heaven and hell. I personally believed, once you died that - that was it. Reading this book opened my mind, my heart, my soul to new ideas, and new understandings. If you don't believe in this kind of 'stuff' read this book, its so incredible. I've never read anything so powerful and intense. Not only did he make me believe life is never over, it brought me inner peace which i've been longing for... for a long time.

Summary: John Edward, awesome!
Review: I have read Crossing Over and One Last Time. Both books are excellent reading. John Edward explains how he began to "read" people, even as a young person. One Last Time is about his early beginnings as a physic and Crossing Over continues the story and tells how his TV show got started. The man is excellent. I have been watching his show for the last few months and I was really impressed with him. So I purchased his books and after reading them, I am even more convinced. He does wonderful work and writes a very interesting book. They are worth reading.

Summary: You must read this with an open mind
Review: I am a skeptic. I have always believed that when you are gone... you are gone. In seeing John Edward on TV, he was so convincing that I had to find out more. After reading One Last Time, I am beginning to question some of my beliefs... or at least reconsider them. John tells stories of his readings in a light-hearted way, similar to his TV show. The latter chapters were the most interesting where he describes what is going through his head during the readings. The book would have been even better if there was more of this. This book is much better than his most recent book, Crossing Over, which was more of a biography and was not nearly as interesting.

Summary: One last Time: A Psychic Medium Speaks...
Review: An easy,light read. It's hard not to like the man after watching his TV show, and his book reinforces his playful personality. I'm still cautiously skeptical. But, how does he do it?

Review: I only have one negative thing to say about the book, it ended! I could not put it down and enjoyed the hell out of it. If you have an open mind and enjoy this subject, like I do, then you must read this book.

Summary: Health care for the soul!
Review: When I purchased the book, I admittedly had no idea why in the hell I was buying it! Upon arriving home, my son, who like myself is a Scientist, scoffed and offered me many barbs about my impulse purchase. I waved him off, brewed a cup of tea, and snuggled in for the night, ready for an interesting read. The book froze me in my tracks, and shook loose the cobwebs of ignorance with regard to the after life. While I pray for my dearly departed, it never occured to me to tap into their energies, or just have a chat with them. John Edward offers up a dynamic and honest approach to his gift, and hides nothing, even his own mistakes. Refreshing! I am eager to purchase "Crossing Over"...and yes, my son is now reading "One Last Time" for himself! Dinner conversations have never been so animated! However John, if you are out there listening, take a lesson from yourself.....learn to appreciate and validate your OWN gifts and come to terms with them. While a 7-3 job may give more stability, your job as a medium offers society much more for you touch beyond the physical and offer healing for fractured hearts. I for one, and no doubt others, appreciate your efforts, difficult as they may be.

Review: One last time. Johns book was an amazing read.
To actually have something written in black and white that I could relate to.Knowing now to call them visits and not dreams {which I knew they weren't}.I've been lucky enough to have 3 of these in my life.
He confirmed to me that what I was sensing,feeling,hearing weren't just my imagination. His words just flowed through me and awakening of my spiritual side that I had known was always there but had just accepted it without wanting to delve any deeper. Thank you John,I am in the process of reading your book "Crossing Over" and I'm sure that it will be as insigthful and comforting as "One last time"

Review: The book is well written, flows well, reads fast and informs. Those are the basics. This book also changes notions (preconceived and others) and should rock the foundation of the very world we live in with the basic overriding message:
WE DO NOT DIE.

Summary: More hocus pocus
Review: Once again another "medium" has pulled another scam on the gullable public. To be blunt, if you haven't spoken to your "loved ones" when they were alive, you are TOO LATE, ONCE THEY HAVE ASSUMED ROOM TEMPRATURE ! Harry Houdini exposed these hucksters for what they were and this book is no exception. What a load of rubbish !!! Once you have "left the building", NO ONE KNOWS WHAT HAPPENS. Why waste money on this dribble ? Spend your time with a substancial work, and this does NOT include Carl Sagan.
