Rating: Summary: A one-day read! Review: I bought this book based on the fabulous reader and author recommendations. I don't see too many Kathleen Woodiwiss (the all-time best) recommendations on book covers so for that reason alone I was intrigued with this book. I am extremely happy to report that the hype was well-deserved. Derek and Sara are perfect for each other. My heart ached for Derek's past life and I felt a kinship with Sara. When they finally got together I felt all mushy inside. :) This one is definitely going on my keeper-shelf.

Rating: Summary: WOW! Review: It's obvious that my sincere recomendation of this book is not necessary when it already boasts a 5 star rating, but I simply can't help saying my piece.I absolutely loved this book. It's the kind that grabs ahold of your heart and never lets go. In fact, that's an understatement! There where points when I found it dificult to breath the emotions were so acute. No lie! The characterizations in this novel were suberb. Derek and Sara seemed 100% real. Talk about rip your heart out, but this book put it back in all the better for wear! Read it, then re-read it!
Rating: Summary: magical Review: i always like the dark and passionate Lord but i also liked the fact that Devon is a self made man with his secrets but in no way overbearing. although i generally like the heroine to be a little more feisty than sara was the fact that she had alot of steel in her more than made up for it. this is an incredible book.
Rating: Summary: It was the best Review: Its a great read and keeps you entertain is all I can say so I totally recommend it to everyone.
Rating: Summary: From Slovenia- Ljubljana Review: Its diffrent and very active. Derek is a man with a past and he does not belive in happines with a woman who rescues him and becomes carmed with him. He first declines his fellings toward her but she has all the love it takes to brake him in peaces. Couse he realises that she is the only woman in the world besides his mother, who could breake his heart. The story is beautifull and refreshing. Luna
Rating: Summary: Her best ever! Review: I've read most of Kleypas' books and this is by far my favorite of hers, as well as one of my all time favorites. Kleypas has a tendency to write her climactic scenes in the middle of her stories, and the last half of her books tend to turn into filler. I'm usually somewhat disappointed and force myself to finish (some of) her books. This story was different, and kept me riveted from beginning to end. I felt such sympathy for Derek Craven, and the small steps he takes to finally allow himself to love Sara are heartwrenching. Sara is a brave, intelligent, self-sufficient young woman that attracts Derek like no other, and her struggle to bring Derek out of his darkness is very appealing. I've read this book at least 5 times now, and I probably will read it again soon.
Rating: Summary: Delicious! Review: I am halfway through the book and enjoying it thoroughly. I like the way Derek feels attracted to Sarah and the descriptions of emotions in the book. An excellent book!
Rating: Summary: Hot hot romance!.... Review: This is a great romance novel!... I absolutely love the main character Derek. He's the mysterious, handsome man that every woman dream of. He's hard and unemotional. However, when he loves a woman, it is forever and longer than that. I love the little outbursts of emotions that Kleypas makes Derek display. He never felt any emotions before and he doesn't understand the little signs of love that he shows towards Sara. He tries to surpress his love for her, but it's hard, especially when she loves him and is not afraid to let him know. The lovemaking scenes are incredibly erotic. This is a novel definitely worth reading.
Rating: Summary: A+ Keeper Review: This book has been firmly entrenched in my small "keeper" stash for the last 8 years. It has that special something that makes you want to pick it up every six months or so to re-read all those "good parts".
