Summary: Good read
Review: This book has all the stamp of Lisa Kleypas. As usual, Ms. Kleypas knows how to keep the reader glued to the book with her style of writing. Dreaming of You is definetely a better read than Then Came You, though the plot still leave for a lot of possibilities. When Derek first appeared in Then Came You, his character ignites a lot of possibilities that would make for an interesting story. So I looked and looked for this book, and was lucky to found a last copy of it in a local bookstore. Though Derek was interesting in this story, I can't help but think that his character is much more exciting in Then Came You. Ms. Kleypas should try to steer out of "safe" plot and try her luck in a much more daring plot. For example, instead of a country miss, Ms. Kleypas could change the heroine into a countess or a duchess to make the heroine more unattainable. This book is good, but I'm saying that the plot could still be better and more exciting.

Review: LISA KLEYPAS HAS REALLY OUT DONE HERSELF THIS TIME. THE MAIN CHARACTERS SARA AND DEREK WERE TRULY UNFORGETTABLE.SARA WITH HER LOVING TRUSTING NATURE AND DEREK,JADED,CYNICAL AND LOST.A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN?I THOUGHT SO!THE LOVE SCENES WERE HOT!I LOVED THE WAY THAT DEREK WOULD REVERT BACK TO HIS STREET ACCENT WHEN SARA TURNED HIM ON!AFTER READING DREAMING OF YOU FROM COVER TO COVER MORE THEN A DOZEN TIMES,I'VE DECIDED THAT IT'S A KEEPER. MY HISTORICAL ROMANCE NOVEL STANDS AT OVER 200,ALL OF THEM KEEPERS.IF I COULD SAVE ONLY ONE OF THEM FROM A FIRE,DREAMING OF YOU WOULD BE IT.DEREK AND SARA WERE BEAUTIFUL TOGETHER.THEY MADE ME LAUGH, CRY AND AT TIMES WANT TO PULL MY HAIR OUT.IF ICOULD EXPERIENCE THEIR LOVE IN THIS LIFETIME I WOULD BE THE HAPPIEST PERSON ON EARTH.FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO LIKE A STRONG,BELIEVABLE STORY,THIS IS THE ONE FOR YOU.A TRUE MASTERPIECE!

Summary: Good enough, but not my favorite...
Review: It was well written and had more humour in it than the other romance novels i have read so far; Derek Craven was a very interesting character and I loved reading about his development... sadly, I found Sarah's presence lacking. She didn't seem 'exciting' in the loose sense of the word and although i found her very down to earth, she was a tad too plain for me.The romantic chemistry was good and very touching all the way, but the couple only come to an arrangement in the latter part of the book. It has a very nice conclusion though, and i do not regret having read this book.

Review: I really love the story especially the plot. The characters are unique.The dialogues are moving that I'd like to weep. It's really a hard to put down. The best i've read including her other novel, someone to watch over me. Praise for lisa kleypas. Mabuhay!

Summary: I'd rate it higher if I could
Review: I really enjoyed this book. It was great from the first chapter. Derek, a man who grew up in the streets among thiefs, prostitutes, etc. becomes a wealthy man as the owner of an exclusive gaming club. Sara is a writer who wants to learn all she can about gaming clubs to add to her next book. He doesn't feel he's good enough for her and therefore does not allow himself to get close to her. She loves him and want him to "show her what love is all about" but he refuses to allow her to "settle for someone like him". I absolutely love books where the man feels he's unworthy of his lady love. The ending was so touching it made me want to cry. A perfect match as Derek and Sara needed each other...for their own particular reasons. They completed each other. This is the sequel to "Then Came You". I didn't read that one first as I was unaware and I will read it anyway but if you want them in the correct order...

Review: WOW, what a fantastic book. This was my first book by Lisa Kleypas and I just could'nt put it down! I've read it four times already and I will read it a fifth! I strongly recommend 'Dreaming of you'! Keep it up Miss Kleypas!

Summary: One of the best of the genre
Review: When I bought this book several years ago, I fell in love with the characters and this author. It has only gotten better with age. Her other books, fine reading in their own right, pale in comparison. I find myself rereading it at least once every few months, even though I have the plot and some of the words memorized. Great character development, great growth, great everything. This book ranks right up there with novels like "Bewitching" by Jill Barnett (possibly the best humorous romance) and anything by the "Greats" like Lindsey, McNaught, and Deveroux.

Review: This is my first Kleypas book and was not disappointed.... The way he let her go was touching and the ending well...... it nearly made me cry...Now i have to find her other books!!
