Rating: Summary: This book is a repeater! Review: I've had this book for several years now and reread it often, it's the first book I pack when I travel. Lorgan and Deanna are great together, like a true couple in normal life. I was disappointed in Mine to Take that Lorgan was made to seem like a dumb, muscle bound blonde. He's not and it seems unrealistic for him to be protrayed as such.I enjoyed the clay pots, where Deanna use dung and Lorgan informs her of it when her hands are covered with it. How he teases her of it afterwards, the whole interaction between them. They have their good points and bad, making them human and easily related to. I hate perfect heros and heroines, when nothing in the world is perfect. Ms Joy, it's a great book and I eagerly await for the fourth book in the series, hopefully there is one. Just let Lorgan get his respect and arrogance back, please.
Rating: Summary: Okay Book Review: This book is okay. The plot is good, but the characters are weak and sterotyped. The heroine desperately needs some backbone. This is a one-read book.
Rating: Summary: Ending? Review: While I like the descriptions of the characters and the plot of the novel, I was very disappointed by the ending. I understand that this is the first in a series, but I was so turned off by the lack of a real ending, that I refuse to buy any more of the books in the trilogy. Without a real ending, this book cannot stand alone and it doesn't. There are so many pieces missing in this novel, presumably answered in the next so as to make it incomplete.
Rating: Summary: reader Review: This book is funny and passionate. I loved Lorgin's sense of humor and Deanna's (Adeann) fiesty come backs. These two strike sparks off of each other. And ,Oh my, that Rejar. I'm delighted she has written two sequels (Rejar and Mine to Take). These three are all must reads if you enjoy humorous romance. It just takes her so long to write them.
Rating: Summary: The Start of a Wonderful, Loving, Fun Filled Adventure Review: I have read all three of this series, each one better than the last. Dara has a talent for setting your mind ablaze with sensitive, erotic, and humerous visions of these futuristic, fantastic breed of man and beast. I loved Lorgain's character and the chemistry between him and Deana. Even tho Deana doesn't think much of him in the beginning, he has a lovely way of convincing her that she will be his intended forever. He definately convinced me to follow him to the ends of the universe! (And then some!) This story introduces us to Lorgin's beautiful home planet and some very, very interesting family members and friends that will follow us through the sequals REJAR, and MINE TO TAKE. I really loved them all, so did all my friends, and you will too. Dara we need more! Knight of a Trillion Stars is a sensous love story that truly gives new meaning to word love.
Rating: Summary: I loved this book! Review: This book was SOOO entertaining and witty and funny and SEXY, I couldn't put it down. I have read all the "Matrix of Destiny" books (this one plus "Rejar" & "Mine to Take") many times. Dara Joy has become one of my favorite authors. Her characters are larger than life, (how can they not be when they are traveling thoughout the galaxy and into other dimensions) and yet so driven by their convictions and growing love for each other that you can't help being drawn to them. I can't wait for the next one! Please let it be Traed's story! If you are looking for an enjoyable and original read, this is it. Don't miss out!
Rating: Summary: So original! Review: This story is one of the more original I've read in a while. The story is fast paced and exciting and the charactors are lively. Because the WHOLE story runs over several books you continue to find out more about them and their lives and futures together. The novels create a living growing web that makes you breathless waiting for the next life to be effected by the busy body Yaniff. I can't wait for the next story to come out I've been looking for it for some time now.
Rating: Summary: WOW! I LOVED IT! Review: I've never bought any futuristic romance novels in my life, but I felt the need to buy something different and so I did. I don't regret it at all! I loved this book so much! it put me in a dreaming mood, I couldn't stop thinking about LORGIN, he's an increible, irresistible, beautiful man, I would love to meet an alien like that! I love the fact that he cared for Deana so much and that deep down he knew she was the woman for him,I also loved the energy this man had, he make love to her like there was no tomorrow, I'm also in love with lorgin's younger brother REJAR! he is HOT! I loved that he can change into a cat, plus the way DARA JOY described these passionate, confident, arrogant, proud, gorgeous warriors can have you fantasing about them! My only disapointment was the female lead, I expected her role to be more stronger, I believe the author forgot to add about the heroin's life What about her family? Wasn't she worry that she would never see her family and friends again? a real human being would, no matter how terrible life is treating you, Dara Joy completely ignored her background and who she was? BUT I still loved every minute of it! buy them now! P.S looking forward to read TRAED'S STORY!
Rating: Summary: Amazed and Overjoyed Review: Admittedly, I didn't even come across this book until I had already read the sequel, Rejar. But I found this book to be even better, in my opinion. The entire situation, where Deana is swept across galaxies by Lorgin amazed me and made me laugh time and time again! I loved this book so much that I immediately went out in search of all other Dara Joy books, and she has yet to dissappoint me. Like other readers, I cannot wait until the third book comes out, about the other brother. Or perhaps even a sequel to High Energy?
Rating: Summary: great escape! Review: Compulsive reading! The plot whets my appetite for the next in the series--when will we read Traed's story? Will Krue have his own book? What's going on with Yaniff, and what's his real story? I check the shelves for Dara Joy titles every chance I get.
