Summary: Nothing But the Truth
Review: The book Nothing But the Truth, is a book with a very good moral/lesson. It is about a boy named Phillip, living an every day kids life and doing things a regular kid would do getting in to trouble when mocking the 'National Anthem.' When out of no where this story gets published into a newspaper, and it gets to become total chaos. Soon the whole town is talking about it and it can't be stopped. When people are picking and choosing sides some defending Phillip and going against his so called mockery of the National Anthem. The moral/lesson of this book is that if you bend the truth the slightest bit it can go a long way. Over all I feel this book was almost meaningless and could have had the same moral but a better plot.

Summary: Nothing but the truth
Review: In the book, nothing but the truth written by AVI the main character is Philip Malloy. He is a student at Harrison High School. One day at English class he was singing the "national anthem". He was singing too loudly. Ms. Narwin said to him that he should stop it, but he did not. Philip went to dean office and he was suspended for two days. When he came back to school, everyone made fun of him and they called him Uncle Sam. For me that book in very interesting, because today something likes this could happen. This book is very good to read for young people. I think there should be more books written like this.

Summary: nothing but the truth
Review: Well the book Nothing but the truth is about this boy named phillip Malloy. He is a nice boy but very stubborn. He goes through this big mess and it all started when he was humming the star spangal banner in class. He got kcicked out of class and he did it the next day too so which he got suspended. now he didnt think it was right becuse in his eyes he did nothing wrong so it got in this huge conflict with the school. I think this book was ok it could of had a better ending. but it kept my intrest which that is hard to do. I think parts of the book were a little dragged out. and at times confusing.but allover it was good and i enjoyed reading it. i do think you should read it too you wil get a kick out of what happens to poor phillip Malloy.

Summary: Nothing But The Truth
Review: I have just finished reading the book, Nothing But the Truth. And I would just like to say that I don't enjoy reading and I am very picky about what I read. When I started to read this book I found out that it wasn't like any book I have ever read. It was a documentary. Which means it is written like a play. It says the character's name and then his or her lines. The story of the book was ok I guess. If I were to rate it I would give it a 6 out of ten. That is just me. I am more into the mystery and adventure books and this was not like that at all. And at the end of the story I was bummed about how they ended it. It kind of left me hanging. Throughout the book it could relate to a teenager's life. The story would always stay in reality. So if you were reading it you could probably say "hey that happened to me." So my advice on this book is just to read it cause you never know you might like it!!

Summary: Nothing But the Truth
Review: The book Nothing but the Truth is fiction. It is about a student named Philip who was suspended from school, because he sang the national anthem. Then he had many problems with a school: bad grades get into track team, a teacher Miss Narwin and students who were annoy him. The author says that this book you should read very realistically to decide what really happened. Every body promise "tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth," every body says they will. Yet, they do not agree about what happened. That is what this book is all about, the disorder of truth. My opinion is that this book should be written better because the author did not shows how the untruth could be changed on truth. I dislike this book because the author wrote the same thing repeatedly.

Summary: Nothing But the Truth
Review: The book Nothing But The Truth was an interesting book. It can relate very much to our society and it explains how it can effect the lives of people around you and yourself. My favorite part was when Philip received the news that he would not be allowed to try out for the track team. I mean I can actually picture the way he reacted to the news. And at that point he needed to take his anger out at somebody. I really recommend this book to someone who enjoys realistic fiction type of books. I would rate this book 5 star. Check out this book you don't want to miss out on the fun with Philip Malloy and Miss Narwin.

Summary: Nothing but the Truth
Review: I read the book Nothing but the Truth. It was about a young boy, Philip Malloy, and his cruel teacher Miss Narwin. Philip caused a lot of distraction between class announcements and Miss Narwin got very fed up with him. She kicked him out many times and caused many outrageous scenes with his family, other students, the school board, and the media. One of the parts that I could relate to was the part when Philip got in a lot of trouble, and he was not able to try out for the school track team. I could just imagine all the things that could have been going through his mind, his teachers' mind, and his parents' mind. I think Philip deserved what he was punished for because of all his non- sense during class. His grades started to fall and his life started to go down hill. As time went on with Philip and his teacher Miss Narwin, things didn't get better, and things just got a little worst. I think you should read this book and come to the conclusion and respond to how you think it was. I had a great time reading it, and I think you would to.

Summary: Nothing But the Truth
Review: I like this book, because the author shows the action what can happen in normal life. The book is about boy Philip Malloy who sings the national anthem in school and for that he was suspended. The book is written in dialogues and in short memos, which are easy to read and understand. In this book, they describe his relationship with family, friends and teachers. Philip Malloy is the main character in this book and he has a problem. He wants to sing the national anthem during morning announcement. However, the teacher Ms. Narwin does not allow him too and sends him to principal's office. Philip continued doing this and was eventually suspended for singing. I think that book is fascinate and I like the ending of the book. I encourage to read this book and find out what ending is.

Review: " Nothing But the Truth" is an excellent book from the famous author Avi. The book is about a boy named Phillip Malloy from Harrison High who gets in trouble for singing the " National Anthem". Then the press hears about it and the whole thing just blows out of proportion. I think this is a good book on a scale of 1-10 I would rate it a seven or eight If You like documentary novels this book is for you. If you want to find out how all this happens i suggest you buy this book. It's a must have.

Summary: Nothing but the Truth
Review: This book was a great book to use your imagination. You use it because they do not give you an exact description of the characters. This book is about a boy named Phillip Malloy, he goes to Harrison High School. Phil loves to run in track and hates school. Well track tryouts were coming up and so were midterms. After school one day, Phil gets stop by the track coach. They were talking about grades and since Phil had a bad grade in English, he could not tryout for track. The coach said just talk with the teacher to see if he could get some extra credit but Phil got mad and took it out on the teacher and then everything started. I would recommend this book for other teens because the book is interesting. I just did not like the ending though the rest of the book is great.
