Summary: Nothing But the Truth
Review: Hi. My name is Kelly. I really didn't like the book Nothing But The Truth. It was very boring, and it didn't make any sense. Why would a kid get suspended just for singing the National Anthem? That is kind of stupid. Nothing But the Truth was also kind of confusing because of the format that was used to write it. I have never read a book that was written like that. I would not recommend this book to anyone else because it is not a very exciting book. To anyone that is looking for an adventurous and exciting book, do not read Nothing But The Truth.

Summary: I Gave it a Two but it Should Have only One and a Half
Review: This is one of the most boring books that I have ever read by Avi(Edward Wortis). The idea was good and the acutual story I liked. The way it showed how the media can blow things way out of proportion, especialy when the only get one side of the story. What I did not like was how it was written in diologe. I think it would have been better as a book it was written as a story. It didnt help that it was written in little bits and pieces. I wouldn't get this book unless you are in love with the genre.

Summary: Nothing but the Truth
Review: I really like the book. It's not written like a normal book. It's written with memos and dialog. It's actually written like a play. It's a book you don't want to put it down until you're finished. It has problems in it that many kids in school deal with. It helps them deal with their problems. It may be a little hard to follow but it won't take too much to follow it. It takes many twists and turns going from one subject to another. I find it interesting and I think the people who have not read it yet should read it.

Summary: Nothing But The Truth
Review: I thought that the book was in a way interesting and in a way boring. I liked the part when Philp was standing up for himself when he got in trouble. It was boring because Philp got in trouble so many times and the same thing happened over and over again. I thought that the school should not have a werid rule. It was, that you have to stand up silently when the Star Spangled Banner is on. You can't sing, talk, or hum along. I thought that was really weird. The end was funny because he didn't know the words to the song. But overall, I thought that his book, Nothing But The Truth was an okay book to read.

Summary: What A Good One
Review: The book Nothing But The Truth was a very good book. It actually made me want to read. Even though it turned out weird, I thougt it was a good book by Avi. A very good book lets leave it at that.

Summary: Nothing but the Truth
Review: I think the book is an excellently portrayed how the media can twist and turn the truth. It is one of those books that makes you think it is real but it is not. It reiterates the fact of life that "It doesn't matter what the truth is, it is what people are thinking about it." Nothing but the Truth. This book makes the impression on me that it was developed from a real life sitution. This book is a must read book for people who enjoy hearing the news and the stories on it. I also like how the book is not writen like a normal book but it is written in memos and dialogue.

Summary: Nothing But the Truth
Review: Hi,my name is Lindsay and I'm a 7th grader going to school in VA. I had to read this book for school, and I didn't like it very much. In some parts of the book, it seemed like AVI couldn't write. It sounded like something i wrote in 2nd grade. It sounded to immature for a writer who has written so many books. The format was confusing and it was not very interesting. It was a good idea and everything, but it was to different. Some of the conversations and memos were boring. I skipped some of those and just kept going. They explained things that we already knew. And personally, the ending was stupid. He said he did not know the words to the Star Spangled Banner, and he really did.I think he was just being cowardly. Over all, the book was pretty bad. I have read better ones, but i don't think I have read any books worse than this. But, I have read other Avi books and enjoyed, this one just happened not to turn out as well.

Summary: Wonderful Story!
Review: The book Nothing But The Truth was excellent!! It showed a great example of how the media can change the truth and effect peoples lives. It was sad in the story that the media got so out of hand that Ms. Narwin, a perfectly good teacher, ended up leaving all because of some teenage boys story. I thought the book was well planned out and very interesting to read. I would definitely recomend this book to anyone who is interested in reading it.

Summary: The book for younger kids
Review: The book "Nothing But the Truth" is an okay book for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. It has a good story line and a fairly good conclusion. If you are older than a 5th grader then you probably will not like the book.

Summary: The whole truth and nothing but the truth.
Review: I read Nothing but the Truth as a reading assignment. I found the book confusing and dull. You never know what is going on. If you like books with dialogue then you will like this book. The problem in this book was telling the truth. You don't know the whole truth and nothing but the truth untill the last part of the book. Although the book was dull, confusing, and their was too much dialogue, the book would still be good for students to read and understand dialogue. Even though I don't care for this book that much it still has a good story plot.
