Summary: It was ok but needs help.
Review: We thought it waz ok.It waz kind of uninteresting and didn't make very much sense.We would recommend this book to 4th or 5th graders.It needs more action to keep the readers on their toes. We liked it because it is about a kid that we can relate to. But the characters seemed lifeless like they weren't real people. We think Avi can do much better.

Summary: I must give the truth for "Nothing But the Truth" pointless
Review: We feel that the story didn't appeal to us. We feel that we could have put better use in our time than to read this story. We are not saying don't waste your time with this book, what we are saying is that we wouldn"t recommend it. This is because it didn't interest us at all in anyway. My personal opinion is that this story is half-witted. Plus we did not understand the meaning and the point to the story.

Summary: I'm a seventh grader from Graham Park Middle School.(GPMS)
Review: I personaly thought the book was pointless. I mean in real life do you think you would ge suspended for "humming" the national anthem? Phillip Malloy is a character that is badly portrayed. Mrs. Narwin is an person who is at least 50 and has no way been teaching for 21 years. Did you notice how, in the letter to her sister Anita, she said "she felt out of touch" with her students. Now I'll stop talking about how bad the plot was and tell you how bad the ending was. The ending made no sense and I was mad that I had wasted my good time to read this literature that was definatly not Avi's best work. If I was you I would not recommend this book to anybody.

Summary: Not too enticing!
Review: I just don't think that this book was realistic enough! I mean the characters just didn't make real-life actions relating to what would happen in real life. The book didn't have a realistic moral, either. I like action-filled, enjoyable books so this book wasn't near my favorite! I'm just saying, it was incomprable to excitement and fast-moving books. Avi needs to learn to get a real job, because the one he's trying to succeed in is obviously way too good for his boring writing techniques. I pray that he has a day job, if his audience is as described and named as young adults.

Review: It was good, but lacked action, was confusing and was in a format that contained no detail. We think though that most likely everyone will have a different reaction to this book. We feel that there were some points in the book that just needed more. We didn't like the format because we thought it was confusing and was in a way that had little detail. Read it for yourself and see what you think would be our advise.

Review: It is not that interesting. It does not tell all the information you need. The author thinks too hard. It does not interest us both at all. We would have stopped reading at page 50 if we did not have to read it for our language arts class. And the thing about geting suspended for just singing the National Anthem? Just not that life like. We really didn't like the way that everyone just got on one side then wanted everyone else to be on their side. That is why we think this book is bad.STAY AWAY FROM THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review: i think tHAT THE BOOK WAS OK BE CAUSE it got very very very boring at the end and i think it is a unfoinnished ending. like did Ms narwin got fired or did the harrison school mad a new rule about the nathional anthem. also i think that the student should have the rights to sing the nathional anthem because this is america and it is the nathional anthem of America and that is why i think that then should not have the rule against sing the nathional anthem.

Review: I think this book was very interesting. It had a lot of mystery, and it was kind of strange in a way. It had a lot of hidden truths that needed to be told. I would call it a mystery thriller. I think if you read this book you would know the difference from what was right and what was wrong.
