Rating: Summary: This is a bad book Review: We think that this is a bad book.We didn't like it because it was pointless and we hated the fact that there was just memos and conversations. The book was beyond boring and if anyone else has to read it, our prayers are with you.
Rating: Summary: A must read!! Review: We had to read this book for Language Arts class. Th bok is well thought out and it was easy reading. The memos and things made it hard to read at times and all the jumping around was confusing to follow. The ending was suprising and boring. It didn't sound like everything had been resolved. Avi Writes really well and adds some suprising twists to his stories.
Rating: Summary: Good, but not the best Review: I give "Nothing But the Truth" by Avi four stars. It was okay, but not the best book I've ever read. The way it ended was terrible. The beginning and the middle were okay. I really prefer other books than this. Only if Avi could have come up with a different ending. Miss Narwin should have gotten her side of the story published.
Rating: Summary: How Boring Can You Get?! Review: The main character is really boring. Some of the characters were useless to the story. Philip's parents were really weird. Normal parents do not act like that. My parents would back up the teacher. I think the main character could be Narwin. The characters should have been more exciting. (:
Rating: Summary: Keep Away!! Review: This book, Nothing But the Truth, was terrible. I really disliked all of the characters and the plot was pointless. I'm from Graham Park and I'm in the seventh grade. Our LA class just finished reading it. I will never read it again unless i have to. The book lacked action and was very boring. To all those reading it, good luck. You'll need it.
Rating: Summary: This book was so *BORING* I almost fell asleep!!!!! Review: I didn't like this book becasue this would never happen in real life. The book was so unreal I wanted to stop reading it. We had to read till the end of the book and thats when it started to get really unrealistic. I almost fell asleep it was so boring!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: It was o.k Review: I think that the book called Nothing but the Truth was an excellent book! But the ending was horrible! They didn't tell you what happened to Miss Narwin when she moved to Florida with her sister and brother-in-law. They also didn't tell you what happened to Philip Malloy when he went to the new school. That's why I gave it a four star rating.
Rating: Summary: Beware of this book!! Review: We're from Graham Park Middle, and our class just finished. Actually most of us hated the book. It was very boring and lacked action. The only part I liked was the ending. Most people didn't like that, but I loved it. Also, I thought that the point was meaningless!! Why did they make such a big deal out of something so stupid? Maybe, if they had a different problem it would have been better. That's all we have to say. We will never read this book again.
Rating: Summary: It's a good book. Review: Nothing But The Truth is a very good book. I had a lot of fun reading it because it was easy to read. I like how it had memo's, telegrams, and diologue. It was a little slow in the beginning but it got a lot better in the middle. I like how AVI wrote the climax and the resolution. I recommend this book to everyone. This is one of my favorite books. I enjoyed it a lot, and I think you will too.
Rating: Summary: I thought the book was great! Review: Hi, I am from Graham park middle school. My language Arts class just got finished reading this book. I thought it was a great book. I didnt want to put it down once we started it. I like how ironic the story got. The story of a ninth grader getting suspened for singing the National Anthem. You can't get anymore ironic than that. I glad my teacher Mrs. Harrison made us read this book I think the whole class enjoyed this book as much as i did. I recommend this book highly!!!
