Summary: NEEDS TRAINING IN HIS WORK!
Review: I FEEL JOHN EDWARD'S BOOK "ONE LAST TIME" DIDN'T CUT IT FOR ME.I'VE ALSO WATCHED HIS LIVE PERFORMANCES ON TELEVISION AND FIND HE RUSHES HIS CLAIRVOYANCE WHEN GIVING PUBLIC DEMONSTRATIONS. IN MY OPINION HE NEEDS SOME PERSONAL COACHING, ON HOW TO DELIVER HIS MESSAGES FROM THE SPIRIT WORLD. HE ALSO ASKS FAR TOO MANY QUESTIONS -NOT GOOD FOR THE SCEPTICS THAT LINE UP IN THE WINGS TO TRY AND DISPROVE A PYSCHIC'S WORK. I'D LIKE TO SEE JENNY CRAWFORD - AUTHOR OF "THROUGH THE EYES OF SPIRIT", WORK WITH JOHN EDWARD - SHE WOULD SOFTEN HIS ACT A BIT.

Summary: I couldn't put it down...
Review: this book is wonderfully entertaining. Although I do believe that we do cross over to the other side, you often wonder if your loved ones are indeed okay. According to Mr. Edward life does seem to begin on the other side by using what we learned from the physical side. It's very comforting to know that my loved ones in some way are still with me and I've had my own experiences that proved to me that we do live on. Mr. Edward's book is written as if he is telling you his story personally without all the fancy wording that some authors use. His personal accounts are very believeable without being condescending, and they cannot be mere coincidences. The stories that he relates to us are of people who have left a great impression on him, and from these people he is also constantly learning something new, something more validating to him. I truly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more from him.

Summary: The Best
Review: I must honestly say I do not read books. My mother started me watching John Edward and I can't stop. I have read One Last Time and If God Were the Sun and I'm anxiously awaiting his new book Crossing Over to be released in August. I enjoyed One Last Time so much that I am reading it for the second time and enjoying it just as much if not more than the first time. I recommend this book to everyone I know it has changed my feelings about death. I always felt that my family was around me but now I know they are.

Review: This book is one of the best books I have read about life on the other side. John Edwards validates for us that our loved ones are with us no matter where we are, that THEY ARE THERE WITH THE SAME LOVE WHEN THEY WERE HERE...Coming from the same up-bringing he has (and it's not just the Italian thing :0)) I am a soul believer of life on the other side. He has validated to everyone he has come in contact with that the spirits and souls of our loved ones reign from the heavens above and I praise him for the life he leads....I walk through those same steps everyday of my life and all I can say is it's just plain MAGICKAL....Go John!!!!The Best!!!!

Summary: AWSOME AND THOUGHT PROVOKING
Review: I bought this book because I was (and still am) a fan of John's show CROSSING OVER on the SCI Fi channel. I stay up everynight untill midnight to see the show. Anyway, I had a very close person pass very quickly and was (and still am) not dealing well with this fact. I am still waiting for him to show up and say it was a bad joke. :( I am guessing this is not gonna happen, so I needed something to keep me busy. I bought this book (I am not a big reader either) but I could hardly put the book down. The first night I was up till 2:30am reading. I finnished the entire book in just 4 1/2 days. I will be purchasing all of the other material he has out. He is AWSOME and is there to help. It has helped me to start to realize that Shane is still with me just in another way, and that he still loves me and I can still love him (and God as well one day). This book will bring you alot of things one is peice of mind, and joy too.

Summary: A Pitiful Scam
Review: It seems quite unbelievable with the good, credible information offered by science that people are still taken by those such as Edward, who make a living by preying on the grieving and the gullible. I do not blame his followers, as the vulnerability of the bereaved is apparent. But to claim to channel even pets! Please! Such obvious pandering is a scam, pure and simple. Edward does tricks that are easy to understand, and even perform. Look, for example, at the work of James Randi. Edward will claim that he is only offering comfort through the use of his "gift." In reality, he is practicing the worst sort of opportunism to coldly separate the grieving and the gullible from their money. If this is a "gift," why does he charge for it? And how have Americans gotten so far from critical thinking that they cannot see through the most transparent huckster?

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JOHN EDWARD'S BOOK - ONE LAST TIME ALONG WITH ANOTHER MEDIUM'S BOOK I RECENTLY READ - THROUGH THE EYES OF SPIRIT BY JENNY CRAWFORD. BOTH BOOKS BRING FORWARD MESSAGES OF JUST HOW IMPORTANT EACH WAKING MOMENT OF LIFE IS, AND WE NEED TO WAKE UP AND PAY ATTENTION TO ALL THAT IS GOING ON AROUND US! BOTH BOOKS HAVE HELPED ME TO BECOME MORE COMPASSIONATE AND PATIENT OF OTHER PEOPLE. I DO BELIEVE THAT MEDIUMS SUCH AS JOHN EDWARD, JENNY CRAWFORD AND GEORGE ANDERSON ARE SPIRITUAL TEACHERS HELPING US ALL TO UNDERSTAND WHY WE ARE HERE ON EARTH. AND ALSO WHAT THE LIFE HERE-AFTER IS ABOUT. THANKS FOR WRITING SUCH INFORMATIVE BOOKS, I NOW HAVE NO FEAR OF DYING. BLESSINGS IN YOUR WORK.

Summary: GOOD READING
Review: People like John Edward work very hard toward giving evidence of life after-death. There are millions of supporters for mediums like John Edward, James Van Praagh and Jenny Crawford, as well as the late Doris Stokes. These mediums portray feelings of love and give so much comfort to people who have lost loved ones. One Last Time definately has helped to heal my heart. I also recommend Talking to Heaven and Through the Eyes of Spirit for great reads. It is so reassuring to see true mediums sharing their work in such a positive way. Thank you John Edward and may God Bless you in your work.

Summary: Gives Me Hope
Review: If nothing else,this book has given me hope that there is another life after our departure on earth.John gives such detail to each person's personal experience with their loved ones that I cannot imagine he is a fake.I love this book and I respect and admire the work that he does.If this were truely the devil's work,the devil has set himself up.If anything,I would tend to live my life just that much better(not evil)just knowing that we REALLY do have a life after this one on earth.Hardly the work of the devil.

Summary: Encounters With the Otherside
Review: This book begins with background on Edward becoming psychic - as most books by psychics do - and eventually gets to specific stories. Although it is interesting to learn the biographies of different mediums, the bios are rarely as intriguing as the accounts of actual readings. Once the reader gets to the heart of the book, it is hard to put down. This book will be especially helpful for families who have lost young children. It is also a good read for Catholics because Edward, who was raised Catholic, befriends a priest. Edward is comforted by the priest's view that what he has is a gift from God to help people. Edward enforces that he is simply a medium - he is not sure what it looks like or what takes place on the Otherside. He simply sees the spirits and translates their messages. If one is interested in what life is like after you pass from this world, I highly recommend books by Sylvia Browne.
